Pros: Good hiking trails, good camp sites, clean bathhouse, fun water activities too.
Cons: Group site is not entirely private, some trails shared with horses and get messy.

I have to agree with most of what ahiggs said about the park. The legend is cute and the stones are nice but for me this was a very minor detail. After all, a week of searching for these little fairy stones would be rather boring. I love camping...

Cons: Parking at the cabins is limited.

My college was located within an hours drive of this park, and it was a great place to go sit by the water and get away from campus.
The cabins are excellent at an affordable price, the majority are located along the lake, providing a clean and comfortable place to stay.
The campsites are nice as well, a fair amount of distance between each site, all allotting wonderful views.
I have many many fond memories of this park, and memories and the beauty of the park are what bring me back.
