Cons: Easy routes get used often. Arrive early or wait for others.

Pros: Extremely fascinating and unusual behemoth of a rock formation.
Cons: Not as conveniently located as road maps may seem to indicate. Little else to do.

Pros: It's gorgeous, colossal, and unusual! Nice trails! It's a UFO film star!
Cons: The drive from the Interstate seemed to take a long time; tiny visitor center/shop.

Summary: Devil's Tower is so unusual and visually stunning that I would definitely recommend visiting. The long extinct volcano core stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding landscape of gently rolling hills in NE Wyoming. There is a walking trail around the
