Pros: Easy to use, and flexible, inexpensive for the features offered, battery backup. Cons: Speaker phone only marginally adequate, intercom overly complex, requires AC power for many functions.
Summary: In looking for a simple POTS (Plain Old Telephone System....) multi-line phone for home-business use, I stumbled across the AT&T 964, and it's 'sister' phones the 944 (lacking caller ID or the DTAD functions, but with other plusses like a 'matrix' for ... read more

Pros: Lots of good features, except the auto-attendant. Cons: The auto-attendant does not work.
Summary: Good phone if you are planning to use it as a single phone. If you connect more than one 964 and plan to use the Auto Attendant, you are asking for trouble. The Auto Attendant will route the calls to the correct extension, but when the caller is done ... read more

Pros: compatible with AT&T business phone systems Cons: Answering machine does not work if you are on the phone
Summary: First, the minor problems. The answering system has an incredible amount of static. Also, when you go to dial, there is a second or two delay before the first digit goes through. Sounds like no big deal, but when this happens every time you go to dial, ... read more

Pros: Tons of really nice features that outshine the competition Cons: A few minor quirks; Terrible sounding answering machine
Summary: I almost pulled my hair out shopping for 4-line phones. Most electronics stores didn't have much of a selection of 4-line phones until fairly recently since this is not an item that the average shopper needs.

Pros: Great features...if you can get the phones to work. Cons: The "system" doesn't work.
Summary: I just set up my new offices with 3 ATT 964 phones and 2 ATT 944 phones. According to ATT they are designed to work together...they don't. Let me preface this by saying that I have already spoken with ATT tech support, Staples (where I bought them) and

Pros: lots of features Cons: quirky operation
Summary: The reviews conver the territory except there is one major quirk: When you wish to switch from headset to handset, there is no button to do so (pressing the headset button hangs up the call). You have to momentarily depress the hangup button after liftin

Pros: Feature rich four line phone Cons: it's a piece of junk
Summary: I've had nothing but trouble with this phone we purchased for our business. I've have two phones and have had to take the phone back twice already. When I go to take the phone back the store had a lot of opened phones of the same kind for me to exchange
