Pros: Same good qualities as AC4 Fully engaging storyline Authentic feel in missions Challenging yet satisfying

ACE COMBAT 5 is pretty much the same as ACE COMBAT 4 with some tweaks. I liked how it had some new aircraft and a good storyline (though the ending didn't really wrap anything up). The music isn't as good but they did add the wingman command function.

Pros: Sound Effects, Plot, Graphics, Squadron Interaction, Number of Unlockable Planes.
Cons: Not multiplayer or online

I don't have much to say other than that this is the best, by far, AceCombat game in the series. The dynamic sound effects (especially the explosions) are much better than the previous versions. The story line has a lot more in it, almost like a movie. The new wingman controls make the game a lot more believable and add a new level of thinking which is required to play this game. The second I played it; I knew I couldn't get enough. The ability to interact with the other people in your squadron is limited (yes and no only) but is a great improvement over not being able to say anything at all. I can't wait to see the next version of AceCombat! Definitely buy it, its money well spent.
