Pros: I cannot think of any reason to buy anything from ACER.
Cons: JUNK JUNK JUNK!!! $217.00 for a replacement battery. Hard drive has failed 3 times!
What a piece of poop. I paid $1200.00 for this pile of junk in 1999. I have given it little use. The hard drive was replaced by ACER once, a local shop once and now it is bad again! On top of that, I priced a replacement battery at $217.00!!! I don't think it warrants the price of a new hard drive. I will put it on EBAY and see if any suckers out there want to buy it. Acer products are obviously junk and should be avoided. PS: My first CD burner was an ACER and it lasted all of 7 CDs before it died. ACER sent me a replacement under the warranty and I was able to burn 11 CDs before that one died.
