Cons: Plastic cover is not rigid enough to protect children from the shredder teeth.

This shredder injured my daughter. The plastic cover is too flexible and will widen too easily. The injury occurred the first day I used it. The injury involved her left hand being pulled into the shredder teeth and basically amputated most of three fingers.
