Pros: Powerful enough, doesn't strain charging system, quality, price, does what it claims... well. Cons: Small transformer, RCA's are too close
The Alpine MRP-M350 is a great amp for entry-level sound systems. Power It actually delivers slightly more then the advertised 200 watts rms at 4 ohms (12 volt), keep in mind however that as voice coils heat up their resistance changes and ...

Good Amp for The price
by ryry4484 ,Mar 06 '05
Pros: 350 watts RMS at 4ohms is plenty for a couple entry level subs Cons: looking for competition grade this isn't your amp but great power for the $!!
I bought this amp for the simple reason that I needed something to power my 2 entry level alpine type E subwoofers, and wasn't looking to spend a whole lot of money. At 200 bucks this amp performs very well and has ample features for the price paid.

Great amp for EXTREMELY CHEAP!
by mike415 ,Mar 05 '06
Pros: Powerful and cheap Cons: No digital display, but it keeps the cost down...
I bought this too power 1 12" Alpine S Type sub rated for 300watts RMS. This puts out 350 so its a decent match, it could probably power 2 easily. Its got great looks and lots of power. I have no problems with the SQ. It would be great if it had a digital display to customize the sound, but too keep the price down I dont mind. I havent noticed it get hot at all so I don't think thats an issue with this amp.

Excellent Amp
by bigd06 ,Jan 11 '04
Pros: ALOT of power, Compact size since its class D,very underrated Cons: no remote bass knob(just nitpicking though)
This amp is an excellent amp if you want alot of power. I got it originally for my dad to run two lanzar 12's, and it pushed them fine. well just recently i bought two kicker compvr 15's and thought i would try hooking it up. I bought the wrong ohm subs so i could only put it in 4 ohms. the amp is rated at 200x1 in 4 ohms. They are pushing the compvr's with more power than they can handle. this amp is amazing and if you get it from hookedontronics it is only 138.00 It is only rated for 700 watts peak but i have talked to some stereo shop guys around where i live and they said that since its a class D amp(digital) that it can easily put out 1400 watts. brandon

This amp is a powerhouse.
by canada_alpine ,Jul 08 '04
Pros: Power, way more power then you bargain for, be carefeul with smaller subs. Cons: besides a bass knob, but with the alpine subwoofer control on the deck who cares.
Apline really did there work well on this amp. I gurantee you will not find an amplifier with this quaility, power and price out there. It truly is the complete package, retails in canada for 350$ and can be picked up for 300$ (CDN) at almost any store. I started off powering just one 12 inch type s sub and found that this amp was way too much power for it. I know push two 12" type s, but this years model so more max handling power, and it pushes them with ease, and makes them sound great. All in all hats off to alpine!~!
