Pros: Make-Up, Casting, Production Values, Direction, Performances, Screenplay Cons: Not really. It's long, but easily watchable in more than one installment.
Its been a while now since AIDS was front page news every day. A while since I saw the word plague used to describe the illness among gay man in America. A while since AIDS was little more than an unknown, fatal entity without adequate ...

Pros: Mainly acting, there were no weak characters. Remains relevant despite new AIDS treatments. Cons: For some the NYC focus and open Republican hatred may be problematic.
I am writing an academic article on the film version of Angels in America and that makes it difficult to review—this is why I have put off writing an epinion about it despite having seen it originally 2 years ago and watched it several times since ...

Pros: Script,Acting, particularly Pacino, Wright and Justin Kirk Cons: Mediocre CGI, some long speeches.

Pros: Incredibly good cast, acting, writing, photography, and special effects. Cons: None that I can think of.
ANGELS IN AMERICA, the cable TV mini-series version of the Broadway play -- actually two Broadway plays (subtitled Millennium Approaches and Perestroika) shown with the same ensemble six months apart in 1993 -- done with a all-star cast chockablock with ...

Pros: Good acting, some humor Cons: Boring and pointless, unlikeable characters
This is one of those "artsy fartsy" films that you'll either love or hate. While the first reviewer is in the love category, I'm in the opposite. I'm one of the common folk who prefer the likes of Spiderman and Star Wars over excessively dramatic ...
