Has had apex TV for 3yrs and have not notice decreased in picture quality or sound. Bought tv based on price and could get 3 a/v inputs and 1 a/v output that did not seem available on other set at this price. Will probably replace it when it breaks-if - with another apex. I to wish it would stay at video instead of going back to air/cable channel. My color preferrence was different than the factory presets so i'm glad they made that possible

I bought this tv about a year and a half ago at circuit city the day after thanksgiving. I thought to myself wow that's a good price for that size tv, so I decided to buy it. I had no problems with it up until about 3 months ago. When I'm watching tv all of a sudden it starts to make a high pitch noise and it continues to do so every 40-50 seconds. If anyone can tell me what this is or how to get it to stop I would appreciate it.

I purchased this TV about 6 months ago and it is still going strong. It was VERY cheap (I got it on sale for $259) for a 32 inch which concerned me.

Thus far, however, no problems.

Remote is a bit large and awkward to use, but functional.
The picture is adequate as is sound.

It has all the standard functions: timer, Closed caption, stereo, etc.

As a bonus it has nice built in handles which make it easy to lift for its size.

Thus far I am very pleased... mostly due to its incredibly low price.

Pros: $ total AV inputs S-video in put, decent sound
Cons: i have not found any yet

My husband and I are one of those crazy couples that went out for the day after thanksgiving sales. We bought our Apex 32 inch TV from circuit city for $200. We can't complain about his TV we have AV inputs in front and S video in the back. Also, 3 AV inputs in the rear of the TV so DVD, PS2, X BOX, & game cube can stay connected very easily.

Pros: The Price for this size TV is one of the best!
Cons: None so far!

I took a chance by buying this television because I had never seen an Apex TV, but the price is what got my attention. For a company that is known mostly for making DVD players they did pretty good with TVs. For the price, you really get a good deal. Also, I like the remote that came with this TV, it is programmable for your DVD player, VCR and Cable box, its like you get a universal remote with the TV!

Pros: APEX 40inch 1080p LCD great price day after thanksgiving at $448. Picture- average for LCD.
Cons: The tv sound terrible. Settings dont allow for advanced controlling of tint/pictures and sound. 

APEX 40 inch 1080P style is nice with a shiny black gloss finish on the trim. 3 hdmi ports, a hd over the air tuner that works well, and a pc vga input. there are also rca componant and other types of inputs
