Apex Digital PF2720 27 inch TV

Pros: Low price, attractive design.
Cons: setup for cable/satelite unusally complicated.

Bought this TV from circuit city, the price was right and have been pleased with the color quality and picture. I even dropped it while installing it in my entertainment center and still works fine.

It is attractive looking and is a good TV for someone who doesn't want to pay a fortune for a flat screen TV.

Pros: Easy return at Circuit City
Cons: Everything else about this TV.

Bought this TV brand new at the Circuit City in Fort Worth TX. Took it home and installed it in a cabinet in the bedroom, connected all the cables, etc. Put the batteries in the remote, and WEIRD!!

The power button on the remote did not work. Turned on the unit using the button on the front. Could not change channels, and the volume contRol only went up not down.

Several buttons worked, but nothing did what they were supposed to do. NO WAY to turn the VOLUME DOWN, it just gets louder and louder.

Took it back to Circuit City, and while returning it, another customer came in to return another one with the same problem.

Left that one there, took my cash, and will look elsewhere for another brand. If you see this model APEX TV, RUN!!

Pros: Lots of a/v hook ups (I believe there are close to six)
Cons: Really haven't found any...

I recently replaced my 20 inch flat tube apex with this model and my wife and I were very pleased with its features and build quality. I think the other reviewer just ran across a bad batch of televisions. The set has some features we saw with the "higher end" models we looked at too. We are very pleased with our purchase.
