Pros: It grinds soft or medium items easily if you peel/core them first.
Cons: It won't crush dense ice, or hard items.

Pros: Doesn't take up much space. Is easier than cleaning a blender.
Cons: Not as amazing as the infomercial shows but somewhat practical.
