  • I read the nightmares, but I must disagree

Pros: Cleans very well, beautiful design, single button start (4 separate programs)
Cons: Very expensive, cycles are long, initial programming a bit complicated

Summary: I have been using ASKO washer since 1994. This is my second ASKO washer. The first one broke down after 10 year with minimal problems but my extended warranty company General Electric could not fix the machine and gave me the original purchase price of ... read more

  • Improved Experience after Upgrading to new Asko

Pros: Aesthetically perfect in elevated dishwasher cabinetry for an awesome look - environmentally friendly
Cons: VERY expensive, small capacity, wrinkled laundry

Summary: I first chose Asko because of a space constraint in a new home, and my mother-in-law had them and they worked out o.k. for her - she was looking to have under-the-counter machines that looked good - these do. Sticker shock - over $3000 for the ... read more

Pros: Great looks, silent, until those 1600 rpms kick in! :)
Cons: None that I can come up with

Summary: I guess everyone is welcome to their Epinion, but we have two boys, and this machine cranks out 3 loads a day! The laundry comes out virtually dry at 1600 rpms, so the dryer only runs half the normal time. We've never called for service in our 4 years ... read more

Pros: They are pretty and have pretty electronic/computer controls and are very space concious.
Cons: Despite how pretty they are, I have been failed by ASKO

Summary: I quite simply hate ASKO with all my being. I have been under constant repair with my units. I had my laundry room built specifically for these units. I have spent thousands at the laundry mat since my machines rarely work. When they did run, our $400 ... read more

    Pros: none
    Cons: constant failure!

Summary: The purchase of an Asko washer and dryer was a mistake. The washer and dryer for the first year worked perfectly and it can to an end. After the first year I have had nothing but problems. The dryer was catching on fire and could have destroyed my ... read more

Pros: Comes in silver & black, so it looks pretty sitting unplugged in the garage.
Cons: Price, size, noise, capacity, customer support, efficiency.

Summary: The worst washing machine I've ever used (and I've used a few). The machine broke down twice within the first six months of ownership, and both Western Appliance and ASKO refused to take it back. The thing has too many ridiculous controls that are not ... read more
