A8002T amp is great!

Pros: Great sound, lots of power for the money, great for stereo subs, 8 gauge wiring
Cons: use a high quality wiring kit, haven't experimented in 2 Ohm mode(???)
MAKE SURE TO SHOP AROUND ON THE INTERNET TO COMPARE PRICES...AUDIOBAHN CAN BE HAD FOR CHEAPER THAN YOU THINK- even ebay may not be the least expensive. I am a previous higher-end MTX amp/sub owner in the past--listened to all brands of systems. ...

Ideal for powering a sub system

Pros: Clean sound, 800 watts X 1 @ 4 Ohms, 2-channel if desired, Stylish.
Cons: Can't power subs @ 2 Ohms, Takes a lot of juice from your battery.
I bought this amp planning to bridge it to power two subs. It has done very well and cranks out 800 watts at 4 ohms. It is not 2 ohms stable at all and I almost cooked it trying to do 1600 watts @ 2 ohms. However, 4 ohms is more musical than just loud ...
