Pros: Compact, light, MP3 play, Car Kit for $24.99. Cons: Disposable - Dies after about 45 days of moderate use.
At first, the item is an impressive buy. $24.99 for a CD Player, Car Kit, Cigarette Lighter Adapter. Pretty decent when you consider that the Car Kit costs about $20.00 if you purchase it separately. The player supports very loud playback - if you ...

Pros: cheap, comes with car kit Cons: takes a while to load an mp3 cd, no id3 tag
I got this cd/mp3 player for $24.99 so i can't really complain. It takes about ten seconds for an mp3 cd to load, which my friends tell me is long. I should also point out that the car kit comes with both the cd to cassette convertor and a power ...

very satisfied consider the price

Pros: cheap, works well, can charge re-chargeable batteries Cons: included car kit tape gets rejected esp. in cold weather
Had it for ~3 years and very satisfied. Been using it for playing audiobook CDs borrowed from library and MP3 CDs when I am out about either walking or driving, works very well. It also can charge re-chargeable batteries, and that works well too.
Recently had a problem playing brand new Harry Potter audio CDs, always display "no disc"; also the included car kit tape does not work very well, regularly gets rejected 5-6 times before it plays, esp. in cold weather.

Works extremely well
by maofchess ,May 15 '04
Pros: Good as a priced player, loud and great sound quality, skip protection, easy to use. Cons: A little noise made by the tape.
This player is great! I have the Sony DE509 and this one--one for home and one for my car. Both are great but the Audiophase is much cheaper. The Aduiophase has been playing my mp3 CDs for more than 3 months without stop on my car, NEVER skip, Never stop playing midway, everything is fine so far. I dropped it on the floor once but still working as before. But the tape (in the car kit) makes some noise, which is tolerable and diusappears when you turn the volume at middle or low-mid level. Very satisfied.
