Pros: great device, strong phone signal, keyboard & bluetooth built in. Cons: a tad pricey but its worth it!
yes, the title says it all. Audiovox was the first company to come out with a ppc/cell phone hybrid (the thera, a large, bulky device that needed an earbud attachment to use the phone). The 6600 is the ultimate PPC device. First it uses windows ...

This phone has all you need but if it work it be better! by playtronics ,Jun 14 '05
Pros: Has many features PocketPC2003,Cell phone etc. Cons: It don't not hold a charge. Phone is prone to crash or lock ups.
This phone has everything a business person needs to be on the road. However if it would work it be much better. PDA has crashed 3 times!!! Loosing all my data. So you be sure to back up often. PDA locks up often. Battery don't last and to make matters worse Sprint doesn't carry car charger or extra battery for this junk of phone. I purchased 3 of them thinking this was the solution to having to carry a PDA & Cell Phone. We want to return them however we bought all 3 of them at the same time and now it is past the 30 days you have to return them. DON'T buy this PDA it is all hype. On paper the stats looks great and I was sold on it. The phone is not practical. Can't talk long on it and wont last entire day with out been docked to a charger.
Pros: Phone, PDA, Media Player, Camera, Videocamera, Internet Access, Bluetooth.... Cons: No WiFi Access, and quiet ringer
I Purchased the Sprint Version (PPC_6600) and just love it. I do all my scheduling, and carry all the bids and stuff that I need. Bluetooth is awesome. Sync's just like my old HP PDA, just stick it on the base and she's good to go. I have even updated some of my websites with it just over the vision connection. Although it's not fast, I was on the mountain, and was still getting some work done. I've watched movies on it, it plays MP3's, Ebooks, you name it. It's worth about 3 times full price to me. Oh, and the phone is like a bonus...LoL
Just about the best of all worlds by retromodern ,Apr 06 '05
Pros: Full features, small enough, both excellent computer & phone. Cons: Why they didn't they put infrared wireless is beyond me....
The best I have had so far. No longer need to carry both, pda & phone. Using it through sprint. Finally a great phone/pda/camera combination. Allows for roaming and web access anywhere you are. Small enough to be a comfortable phone, big enough to use as a good pda. Camera is satisfactory as well. Charges fast. Came with a cheap pda holder. Retro-fitted my purse, works great for me. Ring tone could be a bit louder - especially when you have music on in your car it's hard to hear. I bought a pen that lights up when I get a call - this visual aid is perfect while driving with music or other noisy surrounding. I'm totally sold on this device and wouldn't change back for the world. Had it since Feb 2005 now and no complaints. Especially useful with Microsoft Money while on the go. Great to get email and mail back.
Just a good device!
Pros: The ppc's automatic handwriting recognition and touch-screen interface kicks the Treo 650's butt. Cons: The phone's ring volume is too low. I bicycle and can't hear it in traffic.
Purchased my Verizon Audiovox PPC6600 at a great discount thru Lowermybills dot com about 15 days ago. So MUCH better than the Cingular Wireless Treo 650 because I can use the ppc 6600's digital keyboard or digital phonepad rather than the Treo's microscopic dialpad, handwrite or type post-it notes, and synchronize with MS Office programs.
It's exactly what I wanted: a paperless organizer and mobile phone. The bonuses I got are web surfing and document generation.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS by hopkinslax12 ,Mar 13 '07
Pros: big bright screen--thats IT! Cons: freezes constantly. 3 month use life on it. shuts off randomly.
this phone as well as its replacement (the vx6700) are used for little more than paperweights. the phone freezes consistently. the screen gets misaligned about once a week. the applications can't open and close one within 2 minutes of each other or the processor has a hemmorage. and its bulky as hell. the phone has likely about a 3 month useful life before some major flaw or malfunction occurs forcing you to endure the endless hold times with your cell phone company who will then send you a "refurbished" one which is little more than someone else's problem. as soon as my contract is up im dumping this diseased prom queen. thank god!
