Hmpf, where to begin? It's strong, that's a dead giveaway, unfortunately people underestimate its strength even in mixed drinks. I rarely use 151 in making hurricanes for people because they get hammered too easily within a short period of time, putting all weight and sizes aside. The fact that it has less of a strong taste than other rums is both a good and a bad thing. It goes down easier in mixed drinks and shots, but unforutnately people drink too much of it since they can't taste it as well as other rums.. which can lead to the effects of alcohol pounding on them within all in one moment. Overall though, it's a good rum for its quality taste and affordable price. People just have to take caution when drinking it.

its a strong liqour to say the least. im a big fat mexican though but not much of a drinker at all. 4 shots was enough to buzz me well for the night. i was still coherant though but no driving is a no brainer. i personally prefer it to the taste of regular Bacardi and i think that it has a mellow actual taste to it.. just one hell of a burn. be forewarned though that the buzz will take some time to work, and yes, even wear off. strong stuff for sure but its a Manly Rum for sure.

Pretty much what the title says. It has a strong rum and alcohol taste. Meaning you can taste the rum yet it burns on the way down (if taking in shot form). Yet you can mix it with other things to make its strong and harsh kick die a bit (with coke), but it will depend on the mix ratio.

This fine liquor is so incredibly great! The best way to get drunk quick and be on your way to a fun night is to take a small glass, fill it up with about 9 or 10 ounces of Dr Pepper, or until the Dr pepper is about a half inch higher than the shot glass. Then light the shot of Bacardi on fire (doesn't really serve a purpose but it looks cool as hell) Drop the shot in the Dr pepper (make sure the flame is out) and then chug it as fast as you can! Since Dr pepper is one of the most carbonated drinks, that is what you taste if you do it correctly! Yes A little burning sensation will still be there but you will BARELY taste the alcohol and you will get messed up quick after a few of those!! I love this drink, i carry a bottle with me to every party and you will too after you try it this way! oh and its a VERY good way to liven up the party, have everyone take a shot of this stuff! -DIZZY ;-)

This is the second most hardcore alcohol i have drank next to 98% polish (Spiritus) and i dont recommend this for drinking if you drink for the taste. This is for the hardcore drinkers that drink like fish with all the other alcohols. Well this first time is ever tasted this I thought I was drinking shoe polish....it taste terrible. But if you want to get drunk really fast this is the drink. Even if mixed with anything, you a going to taste this. There's nothing that can be done about that. Not to mention as soon as you swallow you can feel it burn from your throat to your stomach.

Please if your already drunk do not drink this because this will put you over the edge and it's not a pretty sight. And if you are a person that is prone to hang-over this will have your vomit burning from the time it comes up from your stomach until it leaves your mouth.

Personally, I know I can handle this. I have drank this plenty of time and know what I'm getting into. Don't drink this unless your around people you know won't let you make a fool of yourself. The taste of it is nasty but liquor is made to drink not to sip and taste.

Im 21 and i never used to be the one to take very strong shots but i tried 151 one night to get drunk and i loved it. its very easy to drink and not that bad if you got a bottle of pepsi rdy to be chased right after it. i like it because it gets cheap and gets u drunk fast w/o having to drink 10 beers then throwing up! oh yeh and i take it right outta the bottle so prolly around 5-6 chugs n ur good!

This stuff is death in a bottle. Then again what do you expect from a company who's logo has a bat in it...

Nevertheless, it is still good for drinks like zombies and hurricanes, and its a little economical too when making rum and cokes because you can still get the same buzz as you would with regular bacardi without using as much.
