Batesias LM3010 30 in. TV

Pros: Low cost, good pic and sound, adequate connections, PC capable; reads SD, MMC, etc.
Cons: Made overseas? Background info on HD in manual would help.

We bought the cheapest set we could find that we could first view. Batesias tech support said that a ViewSonic LCD looks the same and we had those locally in Virginia at CompUSA. ViewSonic looked OK (sharpness, hue, etc), so we ordered online. ...

Cons: Blacks out on some DVD's

I purchased my TV from DigitalMegastore.com. The TV blacks out during certain parts of certain DVD movies. I asked the DigitalMegastore and Batesias for a refund and was refused. Batesias stated they only offered RMA's. I shipped it out for repairs. It was returned with the same problems. I requested a refund again. I was denied. The TV is still not repaired. It seems to be an engineering problem. After 6 weeks the TV still does not work with some DVD's
