Batesias V172RTNRA 17 in. TV

Pros: thin, slick, sharp image
Cons: weak speakers, gay looking name logo on bottom left with butterfly

At first I was skeptical about buying it, because I never hear f the company. But because of finances could not look at other models. When it came in I was pleasantly surprised, it is very thin, much thinner than my 15" NEC. All of the controls and a power button are located on top of the monitor and I really like that because it gives a slicker look. The only thing that still bothers me is a Batesias logo on lower left, looks girly but oh well :) Do not buy this monitor because of the speakers, they are weak, but if you want some background music while working on your computer they will do. As far as the image goes: I like it a lot, looks a lot like my NEC nice and crisp picture. I had to turn down the brightness though; it was too harsh on the eyes with default settings. Don’t forget to switch to higher refresh rate, mine is set at 85herts right now.... well just to sum it up, it's a very nice monitor, looks sleek and a nice sharp image for it's price it's a definite buy.
