Battlefield 2 for Windows

Pros: I dont really see any
Cons: There was a reason 1942 was game of the year.

Battlefield 2 nearly REQUIRES a high speed internet connection. Without this many weapons are not availible. They don't tell you that on the box cover.

Pros: Great Graphics, Ranks, and great interactions online
Cons: freezes occasionally, but other than that none

This is one game that i would not hesitate to buy, it has graphics beyond belief. It also is something many people can enjoy. There is not alot of gore or blood making it alot better for a parent.

Cons: Sometimes confusing menu, Long load times

Battlefield 2 is a stunningly beautiful combat experience. The graphics and controls are top notch, while the menu system could use some retooling. Battlefield 2 gives you the feel of being on an actual team instead of a group of individuals. Teamwork is a huge part of the game and is upgraded from the previous battlefield games by the use of teamspeak allowing you to speak with your team and not hearing the enemy. Battlefield 2 does require an above average computer to take advantage of the graphics but it is worth the upgrade to play this great shooter.

the maps are few. the game is bug ridden. the lag is horrendous(serverside). the mechanics are whacked. bullets miss more than they hit. spawn points are in the worse possible place, spawncamping is rampant. the browser is a friggin joke. the game is not finished. i mean it is really a mess. shooting thru walls is one thing, but you can shoot thru entire buildings. it takes too many anti-tank wep hits to kill a tank or an apc, the choice vehicle of spawncampers. stat reporting is flawed, stats are not reliably uploaded. usually they don't make it to the server.
i could go on and on. just don't buy it and you will be happier than if you did. try the demo to see exactly what i am telling you for yourself.

Pros: Fun, exciting, play modes.
Cons: Tech support people are not trained.

I saw all my friends playing this one. I had to give up Day of Defeat, it was getting old on me. I had tons of trouble getting the game started, it would crash back to desktop immediatley after starting. Tech support is stupid, they are reading cards or something. Everything is set out for them. I exceed all the system requirments as well. As for the game play its awesome, there is so much you can do. I could sit in front of this computer for hours. Be careful when using ati video cards with this one. They seem to not get along that well. Lots of little bugs
