Pros: Great video quality; Price is great too. Cons: A little large. Replacement lamps are expensive.
I bought this projector mainly for home theatre use. So far, it has worked very well. I have it connected directly to a computer, which I use to play DVD's, watch television (HD tuner board), etc. Even with svga (800x600) native resolution, the video ...

Pros: Excellent price, even not on special.
Excellent color, contrast and resolution. (considering it is SVGA) Cons: Doesn't come with VGA to component cable.
We got the 6110 Friday night (Apr 15) and have watched two movies and an hour episode of Law and Order: TBJ on NBCHD. Physically, this is one small projector. You can cover it up by laying only two DVDs across the top. It is also very quiet for ...

nice quality unexpensive projector
by amanieux ,Aug 24 '05
Pros: price
quality Cons: only project the image with a fixed vertical offset
nice, unexpensive, easy to use only i only i had i major problem wich obliges me to put books under the rear of the projector : THIS PROJECTOR ONLY WORKS FROM A CEILING OR FROM A LOW TABLE. if you put it on a regular table, the vertical offset (wich cannot be modified) is so big that one third of the image is projected on the ceiling. raising the back feet to their maximum height is not enough, i must add book at the bottom of the projector to raise the bacj of the projector in order to compensate the vertical offset (and thre might be a problem as in the documentation they say the projector should not be tilted more than a 15 degrees angle). when i contacted tech support about this problem they told me i just had to fix it on the ceiling - wich is impossible in my case.

Benq PB6110
by russweiller ,Jul 05 '05
Pros: Easy, quiet, cheap, effective, astounding .... Cons: None yet.
Excellent unit for this price. After months of research and saving, I initially decided for the Infocus X1, then I happened upon the PB 6110. And I am very happy with the purchase, plus I saved a lot of money!!!!! My Soken DVD player has VGA out so no need for composites, the picture is incredible. I have conected the xbox via component and the picture is much duller, but still acceptable. Perhaps when I change to S-video cables the picture will improve. The unit is quiet and the menu is so simple. I think I may have seen quick flashes of "rainbow effect" but this cold just be my imagination - maybe Im trying to see them - anyway, don't worry about this, I believe there is too much spin surrounding this DLP problem.
