Pros: controlling,maintaining temps with vents awesome solid,durable cooks very long on charcoal great food. Cons: pricey to some but worth every last penny.

Pros: Easy, delicious, perfect results every single time, even by first-timers. Lasts longer than you will. Cons: A bit pricey compared to a kettle grill. Still cheap over the long haul.

Pros: Accessories are easy to buy or replace Cons: Hinges don't last that long
Summary: The Big Green Egg is the bomb. We have had brinkmans, char-broils and other kinds but nothing compares to the Big Green Egg. It is so easy to use and is perfect for parties and get togethers. You can cook anything on it. I even made my own smoked cheese.

Summary: Had to laugh at harp007's review. If all you plan to do is cook burgers and steaks look elsewhere, this is too much grill for you. But if you want to make brisket, ribs, pulled pork, turkey, pizza, wings, etc. you can do no better. Amazing bbq

Summary: My wife bought me one for christmas. Before this I just always used a regular charcoal grill with great results. This thing is way too expensive! My last grill was a cast-iron from Winn-Dixie - cost about $50, did a great job, and lasted 10 years.
