Chose this one in a hurry when my doctor told me I had bronchitis a week ago. It's nice looking and very quiet and the auto humidistat attracted me but the info on the box leaves out some important information. Advertised as a "bedroom" humidifier but doesn't say what square footage it covers. My bedroom is approx. 120 sq.ft. so perhaps it will work better for a smaller room. It only has an 8 hour running time and no auto shut-off, so would stop right before the heating comes on full blast in the morning, and while I was away at work, completely drying out the filter. After running the thing for 6 days constantly (except for running out of water) there was a zero increase in the humidity in my bedroom, and I'm still coughing....
