Pros: Model #1867 has been revamped, easy to use, chemical free & New pads don't shrink! Cons: None so far, worth every penny
I purchased the Bissel Steam Mop a month ago, and will never go back to mopping again. I have 3 large bathrooms that have Ceramic tile and a Kitchen and Laundry room with Stone Tile. It's 100% Chemical free, all you use is water and go. No fumes or ...

Pros: Easy. no cleaners. fast and long lasting. Cons: none so far.
I have owned the Bissell Steam Mop for a couple months. I was very tired of mopping my floors. It is very time consuming and the clean barely lasts for one day. It is advertised as an All Natural, Chemical-Free Clean. I think this is true. It is much ...

Pros: Easy to assemble/use; no chemicals/chemical scents afterwards; cleans well; machine washable mop heads. Cons: Too much water on the floors afterward; short-ish cord.
I recently renovated the main living area of my home, changing out carpeting in the living room, dining room, sewing room and the hallway to the bedrooms for wood laminate. I didn't like the film left behind on the new floors by my Swiffer Wet Jet, ...

Pros: Very easy to use!! Cons: Length of cord!
I've been shopping around for quite sometime now for a good steam mop. I've done lots of research and I've looked at lots of other products out there. The Bissell 1867 steam mop had by far the best reviews that I've found out of all other similar ...

Pros: Uses water to clean, and the pads are washable . Cons: It is to thick to get all the way under my cabinets in the kitchen.
The Bissell Steam Mop is the best mop I have ever owned. It comes with extra pads that are machine washable after each time you use them.It only uses water and cleans better than any cleaning products, which makes it non toxic for my grandkids. You just put ...

Pros: Produces lots of steam.
Very easy to use.
Tank is large enough for most floors. Cons: Doesn't remove enough dirty water.
Grip is tiring.
Mop heads are a pain to install.
I bought the steamMOP with high hopes. It was to replace my broken FloorMate, a device that I loved in spite of its many design flaws. The FloorMate is the only device or method I've ever used that actually removed the gunk from hard floors. ...

Pros: Good, quality construction. Cons: Not long enough cord, does not clean stuck on stuck on food/pet debris.
I bought this item after reading all the rave reviews here, sorry I was not impressed, It's going back the same day I bought it. It was made of good materials, steel handle with good quality sturdy plastic handle and body. Required assembly with a ...

Pros: No chemicals, reusable pads. Cons: A bit heavier than a regular mop.
I moved into an apartment with linoleum floors in June and knew I needed something more than a bucket and mop. Initially I looked into the Swiffer wet mop and its equivalents, but I wasn't convinced they would suit my needs. I stumbled across the ...

Pros: Chemical free, easy to use, clean floors. Cons: None!
I have owned the Bissell Steam Mop for over 4 years now, and it really is one of the best purchases I have made. I still use the original pads and filter for the machine and it continues to work great. I always use distilled water in it since we have ...

Pros: light weight, gets under small spaces, stores easily, head is cleaned in the wash! Cons: None that I can think of!
I live in a messy environment (50 acre horse farm, one messy husband, five, big, messy, shedding, drooling, Newfoundlands ). I am also a 'clean freak' with a full time job (college professor)and not enough time! I've used traditional mops, a Eureka ...

Pros: quick, easy, effective as advertised
no chemicals, no cleaners, nothing toxic or harmful Cons: leaves water on the floor
I've been cussing out my second Hoover FloorMate for months because of those vast swaths of dark ground-in dirt on my kitchen floor that it couldn't handle. No matter what combination of soap and scrubbing, they never came clean unless I got on my hands ...

Pros: The 1867 is great because it does what it is supposed to do. Cons: None.
3/2007 You won't believe this. I borrowed an 1867 steam cleaner from a neighbor as I searched for a solution to my ceramic tile floor cleaning challenge. I am happy, the unit works great and reflects the glowing reviews you find surrounding mine ...

Pros: Green - steam only. Fast as a quick mop. Deep thorough cleaning of nearly anything. Cons: Trigger can tire hand. Can't be used for lattes.
We have a rather large kitchen and hallway with about 300 square feet of light beige textured vinyl flooring. We chose the vinyl for several reasons: cost vs. ceramic tile; the lighter color to brighten up the room; and the color and texture to hide ...

Pros: Ease of use, good cleaning and no chemicals. Just a nice clean floor. Cons: I can't think of any.
I purchased this machine after we put Pergo flooring in our kitchen and dining room. Pergo recommended their cleaner, using a bucket of warm water and a large sponge I would spray the Pergo solution on the floor and do a damp mopping with the sponge. ...

Pros: Extremely effective! Cleans like nothing I have used before. Cons: Cord should be on the left side for right-handers. It gets in the way.
I was blown away by how good this steam mop is. I am talking about the 1867-7, an upgrade from the 1867. Get it going and watch your messes disappear. By the way, the picture on the site for this product is of the original 1867, a white model, not the ...
