Poor quality, Dead after 6 uses

Pros: Low price at discount. $15 blow-out at Home Depot.
Cons: Junk. Burnt out & dead after 6 uses.
Poor quality waffle iron. Non removable plates make clean up a hassle. Heating elements do not get hot enough to make a crispy waffle. I owned this unit for one year. This morning with use number 6 the waffle iron dies, electrically shorted out. Dead.

Buyer beware. Do not purchase this brand.
