Pros: Easy to use and clean, powerful workhorse, lightweight, performs so many functions Cons: Many stores don't carry them so you can't play with one before you buy it
The Bosch Kitchen Machine is more than just a mixer, blender, or food processor. It is a base unit that has attachments that will do any of these things (and more). It's a space saver and it's a workhorse. I have gotten rid of my blender, food ...
Pros: extreme durability, extreme flexibility, compact size, great power, reasonable price Cons: not available at every discount store, though easily available through a network of dealers
The Bosch line of Universal mixers has been around for decades, and it's a very different type of mixer than either Sunbeam or Kitchen Aid. Rather than having a motor hanging over the food as a mixing head, the motor is in the base. There are two power ...
Pros: easy to use, powerful, runs clean Cons: Occasional but fixable squeal, can be a little difficult to clean
I bought the Bosch Universal mixer 4 years ago when I started making homemade whole grain wheat bread. I was looking at another well-known brand, but this one came highly recommended. I'm so glad I made this choice! I love my mixer! The pros: - ...
Pros: Easy to clean, powerful motor, lasts a long time. Cons: costs a little more money but it lasts longer and works better than the others.
I love my Bosch! My mother in-law gave me her old Bosch. It was pretty old at the time but it worked like a charm. I would make six loaves of bread at a time. I didn't realize what a good product I really had until it finally died. It ...
Pros: versatile, convenient, powerful and easy to use Cons: can be difficult to clean the bowl if dough gets in shaft
I've had my Bosch for a year now, and use it frequently. I have had no problems with overflowing bowls or under powered motor since I started using it - and I make 6 loaves of whole wheat bread at a time! Very convenient to have an "all in one" machine, ...
Makes Bread Making Easy!!!!!!!!!!! by kbaldridge ,Aug 02 '08
Pros: easy to use, easy to clean Cons: pricey
I love this mixer. Better than any other mixers we tried. We put off buying this mixer because of the price and bought the cheaper versions. Don't make that mistake. We make large quantities of bread and this makes it a breeze! Not to mention the other things we now use it for. I love it and wish I would have gotten one sooner.
I have this without the blender, but I have the stainless bowl as well. I used it to make professional batches of dog biscuits and it fared better than the Kitchenaid and Viking Mixers. It's more powerful because it mixes from the base instead of the top, like a professional dough cutter. I just love it. I think people just don't know about it because you don't see them in home decor shows' kitchens or magazines. I understand Bosch is the number 1 mixer in Europe and I can see why. Usually when you buy something of this quality, you can get free shipping in the US. I live in Canada, but a US shipping store is 10 minutes away, so it does me fine.
