Pros: Good sound for a clock radio, very flexible. Cons: Not good sound for a stereo.

Very expensive door prop
by jcorgan ,Jul 01 '05
Pros: Sounds great, two alarms Cons: Expensive, Craps out after two years, Customer support worthless
I bought this radio/cd player two years ago. It sounded great until three days ago when the CD player crapped out. I called Bose to find out what to do and was told that I would have to return it to them and they would charge me $150 plus tax and shipping to fix it. I played the CD player less than 10 times during those two years of ownership! I thought to myself that I now have the most expensive clock radio in the world. Guess what, yesterday I got home from work and the unit is completely dead. No led readout,no radio, nothing. Now I own the most expensive door prop in the world. I will never buy anything from Bose again. I paid $500 for an alarm clock that only lasts for two years. For that kind of money they should stand behind their product and have a better repair warranty.
