Pros: Works! easy-to-clean; Good value; Comes with everything you need; pain decreases if used regularly. Cons: None for an epilator. May not be a good long-term solution.
Summary: ***UPDATE 4/29/07*** I stopped using this product after over a year of use. The product still works as new. However, I was consistently noticing enlarged (and some red) pores on my legs even days after use. Concerned that they may be getting ...

Pros: Slows hair growth and you don't have to wait until hair gets too long. Cons: It HURTS obviously! Hard to clean.
Summary: Before buying the Braun Epilator, I actually viewed the reviews on Epinions, as I was skeptical about this tool and didn't want to dish out the cash if it didn't work. After reading several positive reviews, I went out and bought it. And then the fun ...

Pros: no stubble, no wax, length of time between needing additional use Cons: IT HURTS! (but come on, we're ripping the hairs out of our skin!)
Summary: I bought this about 5 months ago, for the purpose of removing hair from my legs. The first time I used it, it brought tears to my eyes. I could only do a couple square inches at a time! It made my legs turn pretty red and blotchy, but that went away

Summary: Over the years I've waxed, tweezed and melted my unwanted hair off with various lotions and creams, but then I discovered this little tool. That was the end to all of that! Basically, using this Epilator is the same principle as waxing your hair

Pros: Ease of use, cost savings, less mess than home waxing. Cons: Painful if one hasn't waxed in the past.
Summary: This epilator is great! The key to appreciating it is having already experienced the discomfort of waxing, the cost of salon waxing, and the mess of home waxing. For less than I would spend to have my lower legs waxed twice at a salon, I can now do it
