Cons: glass lid shattered twice

I'd used this slow cooker about 3 times... the day after the third time I used it the lid shattered in the dishwasher (the cycle had finished about 24 hours before this)and yes it is dishwasher safe.
I contacted Rival about this and they sent me a replacement top. I used it again today, hand washed it and the lid shattered about 2 hours after I washed it again! I have tiny pieces of glass EVERYWHERE!
I would NOT recommend this product to my worse enemy!
