From the first day, joy to use!!

by aztime , Oct 02 '04
Pros: Easy to lift, easy to push and easy to turn.
Cons: Not so easy on the wallet.
I just love our bugaboo. A month ago I moved to a suburb of Helsinki Finland from Tempe Arizona. I knew my wife and I needed something rugged and reliable. I extensively researched all the available strollers and settled on the bugaboo. Yes, I was ...

It's perfect!

by meg_web , Aug 04 '04
Pros: Simple, strong, maneuverable, easy clean up, versatile
Cons: None.
This stroller seemed pricey at first. Then we did the math - we'd require at least 3 different strollers: a travel or "umbrella" stroller, an everyday stroller that would work from newborn to 40lbs., and a stroller fit for speed walking, hilly terrain, ...

The perfect city stroller

by yetisrule , Apr 04 '04
Pros: Ease of use, versatility, multi-tilt seat, comfort, cool appearance.
Cons: They don't make a double. I'm continually stopped by strangers to chat about it ;)
I can't praise the Bugaboo enough. Walking around NYC every day I see dozens of other parents bumping over the uneven streets and sidewalks - my little guy never feels a thing thanks to the incredible suspension and shock absorption of this stroller. I ...

Pros: Pros: Beautiful, euro styling, great handling brilliant colors
Cons: Cons: Very long takes up too much trunk space, big tires,2 pc fold

Overpriced status symbol

by catherinebaile , Apr 28 '07
Pros: looks nice, great colors
Cons: fading & mildew resistance of fabric, poor quality stitching, front tires, price, squeaky
I bought this stroller before my son was born. He's now 28 months. It's been used nearly every day for the past 22 months and gets many miles on it per day around town. The straps have broken, the wheels are worn out, it's had two flat tires, and the ...

OK the truth about the bugaboo

by liisamarie , Jan 01 '06
Pros: big wheels and easy to push
Cons: Hard on Mom to lift and manipulate parts. EXPENSIVE!!!!!
The truth should be told about this stroller and here it is: I have had nothing but a frustrating time with it. The first trip out with it I could not figure out to fold and unfold and unattach the parts. Why should this be a mystery? Still I have to ...

I love my Frog but ...
by mommyofcam ,Aug 07 '04
Pros: steering is a breeze, reversible seat/handle bar, fairly lightweight and beautiful
Cons: price, folding in two parts
I have been using my Frog since the day my baby was born. The Frog has endured 6 months of daily use and is holding up just fine. It still looks new (except for the wheels). I live in a NYC apartment and I would have to say that folding it in 2 parts really annoyed me. I am pretty lucky because I have a fairly big closet and I store the chassis upright (partially folded) so that solved that problem. I walk practically everywhere and my baby has been very comfortable in the well padded seat. I just wish I could travel with it. I have seen people take it on the train and even on the bus in the city. I don't think it is possible for me to do so. I ended up purchasing another stroller that travels more easily on public transportation.

A frog you will love!
by mel670 ,Feb 22 '05
Pros: Lightweight; EXCELLENT steering properties; SMOOTH over bumps
Cons: A little tricky to open until you are used to it.
After much laborious research, i knew that this was the stroller that i wanted. My husband took a little more convincing due to the $729 price tag. Solution: find a salesperson that is a "techie." Our (male) salesman delighted in showing every "manly" feature to my husband.Always wanting to have the best of the best, he realized that the frog could not be surpassed.

Worth the money!
by skylasmom22 ,Feb 05 '07
Pros: durable, easy to use, comfortable, great for shopping and outdoors, bassinet very useful
Cons: A little heavy, takes up a lot of room in my trunk
I love this stroller! I take this stroller shopping, walking outside, and even in my house. The bassinet is great for sleeping so when I spend the night out I don't have to pack anything, I just bring my stroller in! I also have a big diaper bag that I can hang on the back without the stroller tipping. I was worried about the two part fold but it really helps with the weight of the stroller. This stroller is very durable and it looks great!

After Six Months Love it Even More!
by qcrew ,Mar 29 '05
Pros: Sturdy, versatile.
Cons: Can't think of one!
When my wife told me that she wanted the Bugaboo, I said sure. THEN I saw what it cost! I didn't care if Gweneth Paltrow had one or not. But I had to admit it did appear to be the sturdiest and versatile stroller-finally we got it.

During our son's first two weeks he lived in it-the in-laws stayed with us and the bugaboo bassinet was perfect. I does as well in a mall as it does strolling through the Wisconsin countryside (IN WINTER!)

Now after six months we love it even more! The seat folds flat. I really don't know why folks knock the assembly/disassembly two second click-snap!

Over priced -not worth the money
by amitgreen1111 ,Sep 26 '04
Pros: will get you from new born to age 3-5
Cons: high price, low quality materials
I purchased a frog stroller, and I am disappointed. The stroller is overpriced. The quality of the seat is low, and the wheels get damaged quickly.

I would NOT recommend purchasing it again.

Simply the Best
by magicmum ,Feb 04 '04
Pros: 2 wheel position, manouverbility, comfort (for child), safety, seat angles, the list is endless
Cons: none
I love my Bugaboo Frog. My close friend recommended the Bugaboo and everything she promised me has come true! Its easy to manouver, its 2 wheel position is great when we go skiing, its easy to fold and it looks fantastic! We constantly get asked what brand it is and we have found it has been well worth every penny spent on it.

LOVE IT!
by coopsmom ,Feb 24 '05
Pros: Easy to use Versatile
Cons: Expensive
It took forever for me to bite the bullet and spend to money but I am so glad that I did. When Coop first came home he would sleep in the pram and we would be able to move him from room to room in it so he was near us. I also got him the car seat adapter so we are able to use it as a snap and go when we would go shopping. It is easy to break down once you get the hang of it. It is also light. Coop is very comfortable in it now that it is a stroller. It has been a great purchase that I have not regretted at all. I suggest going for it if you are thinking about it, you won't look back.

What are they thinking???
by mommachicago ,Jul 31 '05
Pros: Looks good
Cons: Can't get down the streets in my neighborhood
I live in Chicago. I bought a Bugaboo - I hated it! Am I the only person who pushes their stroller over curbs? Cracked sidewalks? Potholes? Unpaved parks? What's with the small front wheels? What a disaster!!! I sold my bugaboo. Bought a Mountain Buggy, the Car Seat Clip, Carry Cot and every type of cover I could find and I have spent much less - and now glide through the streets like a swan. A Big (expensive) BOOO for Bugaboo!
