Its a great camcorder for the general user and/or beginner. It does have some great features but probably not enough to keep a movie making addict interested.

This was my first camcorder and I purchased it in 2000 and it still works like new with VERY HEAVY usage over the 4 years.

The images are very clear, the sound is clear, and it is extremely simple to operate. My only complaint is battery life, doesn't seem to go much more than 4-5 hours.
