Pros: Excellent photo quality, dedicated 4x6 paper tray, cheap long-lasting ink Cons: Slow multi-media card printing, only one media card at a time
When looking for a photo printer, what do you look for? Speed? The amount of colors it can hold? Price? Quality? Convienence? If you answer yes to these, then the Canon i900D is definitely for you. The Canon i900D was a photo printer that I've ...
Pros: Quiet, quick, great prints in black and white or color, wonderful photo prints Cons: A few minor annoyances
My parents just did an entire upgrade on all of their computer hardware and ended up purchasing the Canon I900 Inkjet printer to replace their five year old HP. I spent a weekend at their home recently and found that I really liked the way the Canon ...
Pros: Excellent photo quality, easy and smart software. The photo paper adapter is genius!! Cons: Card readers/LCD screen not needed. Spend $ to make faster. Adapter won't take 5"X7" paper.
This printer prints with amazing color accuracy. I upgraded from an Epson stylus photo 780. The difference in quality is very noticeable. Without getting technical on the color reproduction and photo resolution quality (I couldn't anyway), I'll just ...
Pros: Easy to use.
Fast printing colour photos.
Professional quality pictures. Cons: Doesn't read RAW format on cards.
Doesn't have xD card reader.
Just bought this printer and with the Canon photo paper and an excellent digicam (have the Olympus C5060), an 8 X 10 is just super and if you're saving money, the 4 X 6 are perfect - a photo lab(s) could not tell the difference. Just remember - for a ...
I never found a printer like this one by preyes ,Apr 11 '04
Pros: I like the quality image and low level of noise Cons: to me none
I am a dentist and I gave some pictures before and after to my patients when I finish my work, also I send a picture to my dental lab to the technician could see the accurate color and of this way He can reproduce the same color when He makes a porcelain crown. To me like a dentist it is the most important value in my activity. In both situations and with this printer I get it, congratulations Canon.
All my digital pictures are taken with a Canon 10D single lens reflex Camera
Pros: easy to use and great color production. Cons: no cons yet!
i have always owned a canon, with great luck and this holds with the i900d. quiet, fast and great color. as good or better than store prints. the color screen lets you zoom in on part of the picture you wanted printed. very simple to use and highly recommend it. the 4X6 paper holder attachment makes it very convenient to print 4X6 inch pictures. the largest picture i have printed, so far, is 5X7 and even my wife, who is very picky, could not believe the picture quality. the card reader make it simple to print pictures from your digital camera. i have only had the printer for about 3 weeks, but have not found anything yet to complain about!
Pros: exceptional quality of print, great choice of programs included Cons: A little pricey, for most an I455 would do fine.
I happened to find this unit for about $150 at Best buy, and had been looking. It definitely lives up to expectations. Fairly easy to set up, and can hold both size papers (4x6, 8x10) with out having to remove either. A definite bonus. It has built in readers, which are in a so-so location., but work. I have a 8in1 sandisk which is better for me. The screen and functions work fine, although if you want to really work your photos, put 'em on the big screen and edit, then print. I also own an I455 canon photoprinter, and it works fine for most things, only 3 color head cartridge. But prints with excellent color and clarity for most people. The I 900d, gives you a large choice of color options, as well as printing options. Waste some photo paper, and use each option separately, and you can really see the difference in the enhancements. Label them for use at a later time for comparison with future prints. Overall an above average printer, with terrific results, (for us amateurs).
Pros: Excellent Digital Photo Prints. Easy for the wife to print directly from CF card. Cons: Isn't an accurate ink level monitor in their software.
This puppy for the low price of $169.99 at Fry's has really proved to be a great investment. I was originally leaning towards the Epson R800 which does produce nice prints but for looking at both results side by side, the Canon held it's own. Check this one out before dropping a grip on an overpriced photo printer.
This printer is hard to beat by cwharter ,Nov 20 '06
Pros: Great color and highly reliable. Cons: Difficult to find.
I have used this product for about a year. It has always produced excellent quality as a printer and produces fantastic photos. It has six ink cartridges so you can replace only the one that is out of ink. I like this printer better than a new Canon that I recently installed for a neighbor and, as a result, I have ordered another i900d (factory refurbished.) This printer is just hard to beat!
Pros: user friendly, high quality, you don't need a computer, good software. Cons: cartridges a bit pricey.
I love the Canon i900d. I am amazed at the quality of the prints. You can't tell the difference between a processed photo and one that is printed on this machine. So far I found no cons, although I am sure replacing 6 cartridges is a bit pricey.
The direct printing without the computer is a definite plus and user friendly. I also like the view the picture feature. I am enamored with this product and have no hesitation to say its worth every cent!
