Pros: Cheap and cheerful. Cons: Windows GDI only. Poor paper size management.
I have been using one of these for a year and its OK. It is economical to run, the print quality is good and the first page is ejected quickly. However: Bear in mind it is a Windows only GDI printer. You can't print text directly, you can't use ...

Do not buy this copier
by tomso52 ,Jun 26 '07
Pros: Print quality is good.
Toner easy to replace.
Paper feeder works good.
Cons: Fuser died at 14 months. Just past the warranty.
Bought this for the legal size copy capability.
Used it occasionally as a printer.
Rebate at staples made the price right.

reliable, hardworking
by varialectio ,Feb 28 '05
Pros: reliable, conserves ink, good quality printing, speedy Cons: none so far
I've been very happy with this non-temperamental, easy-to-use laser printer. I'm prompted to write this review because I bought the printer a year ago tomorrow and just for the first time last Friday had to replace the toner cartridge. Don't know how many reams of paper I've gone through, but I'd say at least ten. (I'm a writer and run off drafts profligately.)
It's really been a great machine so far. Great quality printing. Very fast, as well. Sturdy, built like a tank. Have not used any special features, only printing and photocopying.

Super Printer-All-In-One
by laja ,Oct 01 '07
Pros: Fast warm up - great copies. Price was super economical. Absolutely love it! Cons: Pretty big, but the pros outweigh the big size. Would definitely recommend to others!
Just purchased this machine. Only needed a printer, because I already have an all-in-one machine. The price was $298.00 with a $150.00 rebate - bringing it down to only $148 (Staples). It includes a full-size toner refill which costs $125.00 if you purchased it separately (3500 copies). So it was a real economical choice. Copies beautiful. Has a top feed tray for inserting page(s) to be copied. The D320 is the same machine, without the top page insert ($20 less). I feel it was worth the $20 extra to get the top-feed. Also has a nice cartridge for a paper tray. Has a single slot feeder for feeding in a different paper - for dual sided copying. Works great. Very fast to copy - warm-up time is only one second. I absolutely love this copier/printer. I also started using it for my black and white printing because it is a lot cheaper to print on it than on my HP T45 printer. Only 4 cents a copy! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a fast economical copier.

Nice solid printer
by zzzfras ,Jan 05 '07
Pros: Good machine at an excellent price Cons: none
This is a nice solid printer and copier - very fast - solid performer. It was on sale for half off at Office Depot - final price was $149. You can hardly buy an ink jet for that amount and given the cost ink jet cartridges, I fell this laser with a full toner is a good buy. The convenience of a flat bed copier is also good. The toner is the full version. I had a little fuss installing it because the instructions as to when to hook it up are a little confusing. Also having to buy an extra USB cable at Office Depot was off putting but you can find cheaper sources almost anywhere.
