Pros: Great reputation and safety ratings in Europe and the US. Cons: Costly. Buckle system initially difficult. Hard to remove cover to clean.
My 2.5 year old will be moving out of the Roundabout soon and it has been a wholly reliable, easy to adjust seat. Its tether strap (which can be hooked to permanent tether points in your car, adding to the safety of an already great seat) makes it solid...

Pros: Wonderful built in H-clips, very easy to secure, washes up nicely.VERY safe. Cons: expensive.
We love love LOVE our britax roundabout. At first we were skeptical about spending so much on a carseat, but we've certainly got our $$ worth.
safety first..
The built in H clips make for a very easy to secure seat. After fighting with...

Pros: Light Weight, Fits Seat Well Cons: Straps twist easily
The seat not only sets level in the back seat it comes assembled with cloth or leather seating. The children do not fight being strapped in like with many seats.
The child can be placed in a reclining position if traveling for long periods of...

Pros: Easy to use and has held up through several washings Cons: Quite expensive...many other carseats appear to be just as safe and easy to use.
This carseat was recommended by my son's pediatrician. If it hadn't have been I'd have passed it up due to the price. I have seen many other carseats with the same safety features that appear to be just as sturdy. It has held up well through being...

Pros: Extremely safe, easy to install, comfy to baby, holds up to 40 lbs. Cons: Expensive, can't remove seat and carry like with Evenflo and other brands
We had an Evenflo seat that my 6-month-old had outgrown, and so I had heard wonders about the Britax. It was pricey but I was told by a friend that it is worth it. And boy, is it!! The tether and seatbelt combination makes that seat not move at all...

Pros: Fits tightly, doesn't budge or move from side to side. Cons: None
Being a first time Mom, I was very picky when shopping for a carseat. As any new Mom would be, I was concerned about safety as well as quality so I decided to check out several products before I made a final decision.
We decided to purchase...

Pros: Ease of use, child looks comfortable and secure Cons: possibly price, but you can't put a price of peace of mind
I purchased this seat after comparing it with several others available on the market. This seat was by far the most comfortable looking, and I loved the fact that it has a tether that can be used rear-facing. Once installed in my car, this seat doesn't...

Pros: locking clip, secure in the car, comfortable Cons: None!
I bought this car seat after a bad experience with a century. It was like night and day. This seat was totally secure in the car. My son was so much more comfortable in this one too. The best part was not having to use the locking clip. This seat...

Pros: ease of installation and safety rating Cons: none!
My husband and I looked at each other warily at our son's 4 month appointment. At 23 pounds he had grown out of his infant carrier/car seat! We searched the net for a safe car seat that could rear face to at least 30 pounds. We came across the BRITAX...

Pros: very safe car seat Cons: expensive
It is hard to shell out $200 bucks just for a carseat, but this one is worth the extra money! It is the safest and easiest one to use. It works on a newborn straight through to 40 pounds, a good 4 years!
This seat is very well made and fits easily...

Pros: Rear facing up to 30 pounds; adjusts easily; 5 point harness Cons: Pricey, but WELL worth the cost
This is a great carseat. When our son was born we thought we were all set with both a travel system and a convertible carseat for when he got a "little" bigger.
Well, the day came when we had to move him from his travel system carseat to...

Pros: Safe. Small footprint compared to other seats. Good helpline. Cons: Anchor straps short. Anchor connectors too large. Doesn't incline enough.
While everything seems to indicate that this is the safest car seat available it is not without draw backs. The straps for attaching to automobile anchors are very short. It would be nicer if there was more slack. In our vehicle (the Infiniti FX 45) ...

Pros: Very sturdy, fits tightly in the car and does not slip around. Cons: No cons!
We purchased the Britax Roundabout for our daughter when she was 5 months old as she had outgrown her infant carrier. We had been displeased with our carrier and wanted a carseat that sat snugly in the car. We also wanted to make sure that we were buying...

Pros: 5 Point safety harness, free buckle release cover, crash tested Cons: None
I have been trying for years to have children and now that God has blessed me with a beautiful baby girl, I am totally committed to her safety. I did all the research and found that the Britax was the one for us. I even went to the Britax web sight...
