Pros: Secures baby with 5 point restraint. Has tether to secure seat so it wont move. Cons: Expensive. But isnt your little one worth it?
I bought this car seat through an Ebay auction for about $170 plus i had to pay shipping to Hawaii. I was pretty shocked at the price at first, but then I read articles on how babies get hurt or injured in accidents, then I realized that you can't put...

Pros: Extremely good fit in a vehicle both forward and rear facing. Cons: The tether is difficult to use when the seat is rear facing.
I bought my first Britax in 1998 when it was the only car seat on the US market with a tether strap! The seat installs easily and very tightly even BEFORE the tether is attached.
I bought a second one last year for my husband's car and it...

Pros: durability, ease of use, stability, softness of fabric, quality of workmanship Cons: difficulty in locating one
With 2 children under the age of 3, I have been through my share of low quality, uncomfortable carseats. In each instance, I "cheaped out" and bought something that looked cute and promised a good fit to both my child and car...only to find myself back...

Pros: Comfortable, Easy to install and adjust, comes in many patterns. Cons: May not fit in every car.
I bought this car seat when my baby boy exceeded the 27 inch height restriction for his infant seat. This seat is good for rear facing for newborn to toddler, 7-30 pounds, and forward facing from 20-40 pounds and 1-4 years of age. If you have the seat...

Pros: Safe, tether strap, fabric easy to remove for washing, easy install. Cons: Buckle occasionally sticks.
I purchased the Britax Roundabout when my daughter outgrew her Graco infant seat around 6months. After checking out consumer reports and asking other mothers we elected the Britax simply because of all the safety features. We first had it installed as...

Pros: Very easy to use. Super safe too Cons: Price
I did some research when I found out I was pregnant, and bought the Roundabout. I have to say, it was one purchase that I haven't regretted for a moment.
The denim fabric looks up to date and is easy to clean. It matches the interior of...

Pros: Easy to install. Velcro keeps straps pulled back. Easy chest clip. Cons: 2 Britax in 3 years... I can't find one negative feature.
Once installed, the Britax will not move a 1/4 of inch. Even in the rear facing position. You can install the Britax in any car in a matter of minutes. No seat belt clips are needed. A 'rolled towel' for propping needed.
I am a bit...

Pros: Easy to clean & install, extra durable newborn to toddler, GREAT BUY Cons: Lowest 2 points sometimes hard to connect to buckle
This is definitely the BEST car seat on the market. You don't need to buy fancy and expensive safety attachments like the Mighty Tite to clip onto this because it's already built with a locking clip that's super tight. It's so easy to install for...

Pros: Stylish, high safety rating, lots of positive reviews, compact, easy to install. Cons: Haven't found any yet.
Introduction: Not that the Britax Roundabout needed ANOTHER shining review, but I wanted to write anyway because I know how helpful these things can be when you are researching a new item, especially when it is a big-ticket baby purchase that ...

Pros: Best car seat available, is there anything better? Cons: I haven't decided on any as yet!
Britax Roundabout
The Britax Roundabout is the best car seat that I have bought in years. It is forward and rearward facing, with each having separate weight limits - [20-40 lbs] or [5-30 lbs].
Another bonus of this ingenious...

Pros: Rated very high by Consumer Reports, tamper-proof belt cover, padded well Cons: A little expensive-but worth it!!
After doing a lot of research on convertible car seats, we purchased the Britax Roundabout and are quite satisfied with our decision. Consumer Reports rated it very highly. Only the Fisher-Price seats (which they don't make anymore and can't find...

Pros: Solid, reliable and ease of mind!! Better suited for forward facing. Cons: Cost! Poor design for rear facing.
We have 1 child and 4 different car seats. I only share this info to give you additional insight into our decision to recommend the Britax Roundabout.
Ease of use: Let's just say it took me over a fortnight to figure out the rear facing setup....

Pros: Top quality, Energy absorbing foam, non-twist straps Cons: price
I have finally found a carseat that combines the best features.
I purchased this carseat on the advice of several CPS techs at the carseat board at ParentsPlace.com. My infant daughter was outgrowing her infant carseat and I knew that the...
