Pros: Easily washable, neutral colors, extra room, cup and snack holders, extra cooshy.
Cons: Not convenient for infants
Being a mom of three, a brownie leader, and a former home day care provider you can bet I have used my share of car seats. One of the many that I have owned over the past 8 years is the Graco ComfortSport 8433 Convertible Car Seat. When the word ...

GRAB THAT CAR SEAT!

by stlmom Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jul 18 '04
Pros: OUTSTANDING design provides comfort and safety for child and convenient cleaning and adjustments for parents.
Cons: Doesn't recline, may be a bit big for a compact car.
Over the past three years I have purchased a grand total of five car seats. FIVE! I almost can't believe it, myself. But with two working parents and two crazy kids, we really needed to have two car seats in each car. I've bought one on the ...

Excellent carseat

by mommy2jesse , Jan 13 '04
Pros: Great company; good features; easy to maintain; easy to adjust; high test ratings
Cons: A little more expensive; inconvenient to move from one car to the next
When my son began to grow out of his original rear-facing carseat, also a Graco, I researched convertible carseats for future use. Since I was so pleased with the performance and ease of use with the Graco infant carseat, I decided to continue using ...

Toddler survived major collision with this car seat

by SuzyinSF , Dec 03 '05
Pros: Safe, great buckle & latches, affordable & comfortable.
Cons: Sweaty fabric & not for extra tall toddlers (over 36").
Last weekend, we were broadsided by a full-size pickup truck in our little Ford Escort (speed of about 35-40mph). Our car was totalled, but we were all lucky including our toddler boy (18 months) who only got an small abrasion on his neck from the strap ...

ComfortSport Designed for Comfort

by jened , Mar 03 '03
Pros: Easy installation, large and comfy
Cons: Difficult to adjust shoulder straps rear facing
I have had my review listed with this ComfortSport carseat for over a year, however, we did purchase a different flavor of the ComfortSport in lovely cobalt blue and black. As the review was off-topic because of the model, it still pertains to many ...

Comfort Sport - Good for Tall Children

by leylowe , Feb 16 '04
Pros: Wide and high, very soft, easy to install
Cons: Adjusting straps takes a little effort, straps are a bit twisty
The Comfort Sport has been one of our best baby purchases. Our budget didn't allow for one of those fancy $200 models, but honestly, I'm not sure we would have gotten much more for the money. I wanted a safe car seat with a few extras and plenty of ...

IS YOUR CHILDS SEAT SAFE?

by bethmarsh , Jan 07 '04
Pros: Extra padding for the neck, infent to toddler ages. The extra comfort for your child
Cons: Alot of money, but as parents can we put a price on our childs life?
If you are a parent or grandparent you all know how hard it is to find a car seat that your child does not fight with you to get into it. The Comfort Sport™ 8432 may just be your answer. My daughter is now 3years old but loves to get into this seat when ...

Not for infants!!

by etsorg , Jul 05 '05
Pros: The color matched my car
Cons: not for infants, hard to wash
I just returned this car seat. My 7 month old just started to ride a regular car seat rear facing. I went to the mega baby store and tried out several different seats at the store without baby, big mistake. I thought that with the extra padding my ...

Wonderful seat!

by pineapple-gurl , Feb 26 '03
Pros: Affordable and Easy to use
Cons: Hard to loosen the straps when the seat is LATCHed in.
If you can't afford a Britax this is the next best thing. I am so happy with this seat, the LATCH system is super easy to use, its also relatively easy to get in securely using the traditional seat belt.

Easy to remove and wash the cover,...

Very good value for a very good seat

by chrissycoole , Mar 28 '04
Pros: Harness adjusts very easily, extra padding, high safety ratings.
Cons: A little bulky, faux leather may not be great in hot weather.
We bought this seat to use as a secondary car seat, and I am pretty happy with it. I still love our Britax Marathon which we use primarily, but for the dollar value, this one seems pretty good. We ended up choosing this seat because it had fairly high ...

A great seat, though not great for taller kids.

by tomeron , Apr 21 '03
Pros: Safe, easy to use once it's installed
Cons: Difficult to adjust straps when rear-facing; my son outgrew this seat at 18 months.
We bought this seat for my 7-month old who outgrew his infant seat. We chose this model based on reviews, price, and availability. With the help of a carseat installation specialist at a local car dealership, we got it installed in the center of the ...

Some of my friends recommended this car seat. I bought it, and I love it.
The car seat is very easy to install. My husband installed very quickly. Not like some other I’ve heard, you need a Highway Patrol Officer to install for you. The seat is...

Pros: Its not a bad looking seat and is relatively inexpensive.
Cons: Hard to install, difficult to use.
I have the britax roundabout and marathon, when I had my 2nd child someone gave me this car seat as a gift. I would never buy it and go out of my way not to recommend it. Here are my reasons why: 1: The car seat is hard to install. First, ...
