Pros: powerful V6, dent resistant body, 20mpg in an SUV. Cons: Saturn resale value The Bottom Line: It's a great all around vehicle. Plenty of room, it's able to tow, and it looks good, too.
I bought a white 2005 Saturn VUE V6 in January, 2005 for my fiancee (now wife) after her 2004 Honda Accord EX was stolen from a hotel while we were traveling to visit family. After the car was recovered, stripped and burned, three days later, it became ...

Pros: Gas Mileage, Visibility, Room Cons: Acceleration,Noisy Engine, Fit/Finish Issues The Bottom Line: For its price and features, it worth taking a look at.
I have been selling cars for years, and I like the diversity in the overall market. There are many manufacturers, models, and vehicle types that its a challenging field to keep up with. Car companies are always coming out with new concepts, and new ...

Pros: 250hp V6, Fuel Economy, Leg Room, Options for the price Cons: I wish I would have gotten the upgraded stereo. The Bottom Line: This is a great vehicle for someone looking for an SUV but is also concerned about fuel economy.
I have now had my Vue for 8 months I have put over 13,000 miles on it and I am still VERY happy with the purchase. While the V6 doesn't get the advertised mileage of 20/28 I normally average about 19 mpg driving city miles almost exclusively. I have ...

Pros: Had features that I didn't have to pay extra for. Love the OnStar! Cons: Not enough "attention" paid to the interior aspects. Some things seem cheaply done. The Bottom Line: As stated in the review, I would recommend it bc it is a good small suv for a 1st time owner.
After saving for about a year to get a good down payment, my husband & I decided to buy a Black 2005 AWD (6 cyl.)Saturn Vue. It was to be an early b-day present for me. I had researched small suv's for about 2 yrs. I had been driving a car for 15 years ...

Pros: Price, economy, and room. Cons: The 4-cyl engine is a bit underpowered when the VUE is fully loaded. The Bottom Line: Don't hesitate to look at this car! It's a good value and a nice drive.
We purchased our '05 VUE back in March and haven't regretted it at all. This makes for our 3rd Saturn purchase since 1998. This car replaced a '98 SW2 station wagon that was just a bit too small for our needs. We chose the 4-cyl model with a 5-speed ...

Pros: Price, room, style, no haggle pricing at dealership, acceleration, handling, virutally maintenance free Cons: noisy The Bottom Line: I would recommend this SUV for anyone wanting an inexpensive, dependable, fun to drive SUV.
2005 Saturn Vue 4cyl, auto My wife and I purchased our Vue almost a year ago now, and we have put almost 30k miles on it. When we first went looking we stopped by a dealer group that had many manufactures to choose from so we tested all of them. ...

Pros: smooth suspension, finely tuned steering, nice looking Cons: lacks multiple play cd/dvds at once, no coin dispenser/storage The Bottom Line: This is our third Saturn. Saturn has never let us down in our longest history with a single car company. They make a strong product and they back it up.
We recently upgraded my wifes Saturn SC2 coupe (three door) to the Saturn '05 Vue, black. It is a six cyl, has a DVD entertainment package, side steps (round brushed aluminum and a black rear spoiler). The first thing I did when reviewing the vehicle ...

Pros: huge saturn fan. Love my vue, watch out when the problems arrive. Cons: Transmission, interior is cheap The Bottom Line: Before all the problems arrived I was a huge Saturn fan, although we love our Vue, I am quite sure I will not purchase another Saturn.
My husband and I purchased a 2005 AWD Vue new even though I had read into all the VTI transmission problems which GM is not doing much about. We had taken our vue to saturn 2 times saying there was a problem, the engine was too loud. They said it was ...

Pros: Very comfortable leather seaing So much car and accessories for a really good price. Cons: extra tire noise at hiway speeds, steering hard to feel.... too soft The Bottom Line: I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like the Saturn Vue. For the money, you really can't beat what you get.
Although I've only had my 2005 Vue about 7 hours, I can tell you that I could not be happier. The car came in to the dealer today and looked even better than I remember it a few weeks ago when I ordered it. Ironically, I had no interest in Saturn ...

Pros: No haggling sales! Cons: Read & you'll find out..... it's pretty much a little bit of everything. The Bottom Line: Would not buy this car or any other Saturn for that matter. I am not happy with taking the car in every month or two when it's new.
I wish I never bought this car, and I have been begging my husband to trade it in shortly after purchase. A few months after having this car my daughter and I were on the freeway and steam started coming out of the AC vents, took it in and they said it ...

2005 Saturn Vue Awd

Pros: Good economical, versatile SUV Cons: Cheap feel, bland looks
I bought this SUV for my wife, and am satisfied, but not raving about it. It is a economical vehicle that has stood up well to harsh Nebraska winters. The AWD V6 gets around great in the snow, and is quite responsive when you drop the hammer down on the gas. The interior has a very cheap feel to it however. The arm rests are not at the same elevation and the door feels too close to your side to be comfortable for long drives. The dash panel is utilitarian and bland, with some paint peeling from the AC controls. This vehicle is quite functional, yet not very refined.

Pros: Good gas mileage, affordable Cons: Not enough gusto in the V4
I bought a 2005 Saturn Vue a couple of months ago, and so far it is everything I need. I purchased the V4, and if you can afford it, I would recommend the V6. The pickup isn't that great, but unless you're in an area where that is very important, it's only a very minor inconvenience.
There isn't very much in the way of storage compartments in the front- the pockets in the door only hold 3 or 4 CDs, and the center console holds about the same. The only place to put my spare change is in an area underneath the emergency brake, making it very hard to get to.
It gets very good gas mileage for an SUV, is very roomy, and drive very nicely!
