Pros: Comfortable, Quiet Ride Cons: Wierd Shifter, Poor Acceleration The Bottom Line: This is a average car that needs to be improved to contend with other manufacturers products.
Suzuki has tried over the years to be a mainstream automotive group in the United States, and they have had mild success in this endeavor. They have produced vehicles such as the Grand Vitara, Esteem, and Aerio. Now they have a value priced alternative ...

Pros: Appearance/loaded with options/comfortable and quiet ride. Cons: Keyless entry:to prevent lockout-you must lock passenger door from outside: a minor annoyance. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone looking at a Corolla/Civic etc. based on price and options/trouble free driving.
I have not written a review here in quite sometime. What prompted this review is, what I consider, to be an unfair review/rating by Consumer Reports Magazine. They rated the Forenza DEAD LAST compared to the other Compact sedans. I would like to ...

Pros: Headroom, comfort, ergonomics, stereo, styling Cons: Fuel economy could be better. The Bottom Line: I really like mine.
I bought my 2005 Forenza wagon a little less than a year ago. I have just over 15,000 miles on it. I was a little disappointed that I had to bring it to the dealer a few times to get some minor problems fixed at first. Since then it has redeemed ...

Pros: It has a nice appearance. Cons: Everything except the appearance. AVOID. The Bottom Line: If I could copy/paste the word "AVOID" here 30 times, I would. But I don't think that's necessary.
When my husband bought his 2005 Suzuki Forenza, it seemed like a good deal for a few reasons: He had to get out of the car he was driving (went over the mileage on a lease), the Forenza's base price on this brand-new car was low enough to make getting ...

Should have bought a Toyota

Pros: Dashboard appearance, size of the car Cons: MPG, sterio system, road noise, transmission, pretty much everything
I bought this car in August 2005, and about 80% of the miles driven on the car are highway miles. My transmission has gone bad, the shocks have gone bad and I am literally averaging 13-15 mpg in town. I have taken it into the shop three times and the service department keeps telling me they can't "duplicate" the problem. I was driving one evening and the car thumped, the transmission light came on, bad fumes were coming out of the car, and it took every last ounce of effort to push the accelerator. I will never buy a Suzuki again, and I do not recommend them. I guess that is what I get for buying a car that hasn't been out on the market for long. I should have played it safe and bought a Toyota or Honda. If you want something reliable, don't buy a Forenza (or Aerio... I know three people who despise their Aerio's and those have gone to pot as well.) Take my word for it.

Horrible Purchase: Suzuki Forenza

Pros: The car's appearance is the ONLY "Pro" I have. Cons: Need I say more? Read above and see what I mean...
I bought a 2005 Suzuki Forenza in Sept. '05, and have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS with the car since I bought it:
Issues from not being able to go from 'park' to 'reverse'(twice), brake lights not working (twice), fuel pump broken, dash mount cracked, power steering cranking, the air bag light enabled for no reason, water pump flange on the water pump pulley (re-called item #2), broken steering wheel mounting (after I purchased the vehicle, by Suzuki's maintenance team), broken latch, steering wheel sensor bad, etc. etc. Yep, I bought a lemon.
I RECOMMEND PURCHASING SOMETHING TRIED AND TRUE, LIKE A HONDA OR TOYOTA. THE SUZUKI FORENZA SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE MARKET PRIOR TO VIGOROUS TESTING.

Great Car for the Money

Pros: smooth ride, lots of trunk room, great sound system. Cons: Locking system isn't perfect - could use some tweaking.
I bought this car used this last summer, it had 27000 miles on it. We have had absolutely no problems (knock on wood) so far and this has been a great car for us.
One thing I must say I do not like is the fact that when you unlock the driver's door, ALL the doors unlock. This can be a safety issue when you're the only one getting into the car. However, as a person who has locked her keys in the car all too many times, the fact that I must use the key to lock the doors from the outside is great.

Anyone having any problems?

Pros: Great car for the price and the warranty Cons: Transmission, Rack and Pinion, gas mileage
I have an 05 Forenza S and it only has 15,000 miles I have to take it in to have the rack and pinion replaced already and the towering suspension. Also, I have noticed in the transmission that at 30mph it hesitates like it can't get into gear. I have taken it into the dealership twice and they keep telling me that it is normal, personally I don't think that is normal, but yet they told me that when I took the car in the first time about the rack and pinion. Don't get me wrong I love my car it looks great and for the price what do you expect and the fact that is has the 7yr 100,000 mile warranty it makes me feel a little more secure. I would recomend this car to anyone but just check the reviews before you buy. Please e-mail if you are having the same problem sunshinegirl7_21@yahoo.com Thanks
