Pros: Responsive engine/transmission, electronics, and of course Toyota reliability.
Cons: Wish the trunk opening was a bit larger.

Pros: Excellent acceleration, great gas mileage, roomy interior
Cons: Transmission issues, interior not aligned in some spots, accelerator lag
The Bottom Line: I would look at other cars first until Toyota fixes these transmission issues

Pros: Power, space, comfort, brakes, hwympg, auto-dimming mirrors, safety/vehicle stability control; VW Phaeton profile
Cons: Hesitant transmission (@low speed); sub-Toyota build quality; too much brake dive; semi-weak upgaded stereo
The Bottom Line: The 06's are out, build-quality's likely better. Choosing Avalon is a no-brainer. Want a smaller better-handling car? Infinity G35 or 2006 Lexus IS are truly awesome picks.

Pros: Looks, Ride, Comfort, Finish, "High End" features, 4 sets of air bags, vehicle stability control.
Cons: Uncomfortable passenger seat. Non folding rear view mirrors. 91 octane

Pros: Spacious interior, good power/mileage, quiet interior, wide door openings, rides like a Buick
Cons: acceleration/transmission hesitation, lack of trunk space, poorly written owners manual, shift lever maze puzzle
The Bottom Line: This is a basically good car with some excellent features, however, it requires some additional engineering/design work before I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: Reliability. Subtle stying that doesn't get old fast. Smooth, comfortable ride. Powerful. Value.
Cons: Rear detection system should be an option. See review for many others.
The Bottom Line: Toyota will no doubt improve this car, but if you want to the only one around for a while, buy one now.

Pros: Toyota reputation. Value retention. Quality materials. Powerful engine. Quiet chassis. Neat "toys". Excellent gas mileage.
Cons: Some ergonomic issues. Panel gaps. Poor fit on the right side of the instrument panel.
The Bottom Line: Overall, a bargain for the price especially when you factor in resale value. A technological marvel better than comparably priced "luxury" cars and 28 MPG to boot!!

Pros: Wonderful bells and whistles on the steering wheel, great leg room in the back seat.
Cons: Trunk too small, 2003 was huge.
