Pros: Nice car and very safe. Respected name. Maintenance and loaner car included. Cons: Very expensive versus what else you can get at this price. The Bottom Line: If you live in a cold climate and want this brand of car, the S80 is a great standard-sized car. The price is too high.
The S80 is the biggest of Volvo's car line, unless you want the SUV. It's a great looking car... subtle, solid, sophisticated without standing out or "making a fuss" like a brightly-painted sports car or a towering monstrosity of an oversized SUV. ...

Pros: Turbo, safety, leather seats, wood trim Cons: Blind spot is horrible and you feel too low to the ground. The Bottom Line: I recommend it for safety and reliability. I don't recommend it for interior cabin design.

Pros: good acceleration, solid handling, decent gas mileage, Volvo safety features, the car feels sturdy... Cons: Hi wind noise at freeway speeds, hi turning radius, weak dashboard illumination The Bottom Line: I would have expected more from Volvo in ironing out the details and small glitches. Hi wind noise, and interior ergonomics were lacking.
