Pros: Cheap price, nice features, powerful computer for the price AMD CPU Cons: Too bulky and heavy for some laptop needs
I had an old compaq armada laptop for school. When it broke, instead of fixing it, I decided it was time to upgrade, but I was on a low budget. At first I was considering an ECS laptop from Wal-Mart, but I decided to spend a bit more and get this Compaq ...
Pros: Great price, amazing crisp display and great sound. Cons: Heavy and bulky, low battery life
I purchased this laptop from Future Shop (Canada's Circuit City/Best Buy equivalent) for $1200.00 CDN which is about $960.00 US. I originally had a Dell Inspiron 4000 but refused to go back to Dell as a result of continuing problems (warranty issues, ...
Pros: Ahtlon64 Processor, free upgrades, NVIDIA GeForce card, awesome display, excellent value. Cons: Somewhat heavy, but not as heavy as cheaper dell models.

Pros: 64-bit processor, good quality/value, built-in FastEthernet and 802.11b/g Cons: Bulky, only 1 USB2.0 port, not shipped with a 64bit OS
There is only one downside I can think of with the notebook and that is the fact that it's a bit bulky. However, that's tolerable. This notebook comes with a number of possible hardware configurations. Mine has an AMD Athlon64 3400+ (2.2GHz) ...
Pros: Great price. Big bright screen. Nice keyboard. Lots of ports. Cons: Big/heavy. 5-in-1 memory card reader does not support CompactFlash.
My idea of Presario products has definitely changed with this laptop. In the past, my idea of Presario was cheap and crappy. This laptop is just the opposite. I purchased my laptop from hpshopping.com -- and I chose to built my own since there was a ...
Pros: Great when they work... Cons: not so great after 16 months
I have owned many HP desktops, so I wasn't worried about buying my first laptop, a COMPAQ Presario. However, after 16 monhts, my LCD screen just went out. The HP service center says it will cost $698 to fix (replace) it. There is no physical damage or abuse. This has been treated well. It's a shame it isn't as reliable as history has proven with desktops.
Pros: fast, good graphics Cons: battery life and weight. tech support barely speaks english
this laptop has been great, it handles most things i throw at it. I even play doom 3 with good results, make sure you get the nvidia graphics. battery life is ok, but not on par with the centrinos. the only negative is with tech-support, they can barely speak english and are not that helpful.
