All in all it is...
by linda_dt3000 ,Dec 21 '02
All in all it is a very good camera. It is my third lower priced (between 59.00 & 157.00) digital camera, and it is better than the others I have had. Highly recommend.

I think I said most...
by milksie_dt3000 ,Dec 25 '02
I think I said most of it in the pros and cons. Overall, I am very pleased with this camera. It exceeded my expectations. But I really would like a tone or something to tell me when the shutter goes - because it does not seem to happen right when you push the button. I have an old DSC camera that is cheap and only takes 400x600 shots and it at least has a tone for the shutter. But I guess I'll get used to it. It is a minor con. The video-out is great! Image quality is really good for the price. I'll use this camera for a long time.

For a first time buyer...
by jimmy_g._dt3000 ,Jan 05 '03
For a first time buyer this camera is what I was looking for. Great pictures, easy to use, and the price was right, $99.00. Learn on this camera before you make the jump to a more expensive and complicated digital camara.

I got this camera as...
by diana_dt3000 ,Feb 17 '03
I got this camera as a combo with a Lexmark printer for only $150.00. So for me it was a great price! It's a high quality camera that's as good as a Nikon or Canon but a lot less priced. So great quality for less money, which is a plus for a college student like me.

this is my first digital...
by uncecu_dt3000 ,Dec 29 '02
this is my first digital camera. i bought it for $99. i plan to only use it to send pics to family online, so, i will still use my print camera for anything i want to keep. the 2000 is very easy to use, software loaded on XP easily after i read the addendums to the users guide!! be sure to read those, because they do have info you will need for software installation and connecting camera to PC. my biggest complaint is the dim LCD, but the pictures i have made so far look good on the middle quality setting. i haven't mastered the settings, so i may be making some new user errors ( brightness, see cons). for a camera under 100 bucks, i would recommend the concord eyeQ 2000. it's a great little camera to use just for the fun of it, and to see if you are really interested in digital photography. i did HOURS of research, and all brands have their positive and negative comments. this seemed to have more positive and less negative reviews overall.

Just purchased this camera after...
by electronic-circus_dt3000 ,Mar 01 '03
Just purchased this camera after reading the previous reviews. The LED screen on my Polaroid PDC 640 Plus "died" and was not worth fixing. The 4xzoom and the "video clip" are features that normally cost in the $250 range. Only uses 2 "AA" batteries so it's not costly to run. Auto shut off can be set to 15 seconds. Easily set up TV viewing and WebTv compatible. Paid $99 and feel like I stole it! Highly recomend.

Best camera for the money! This is the best digital camera I have seen for 300.00 or less and to be able to own it for less than 100.00 its the best deal in digital cameras. And the ease of use my 7 year old uses it daily.

I am very pleased with...
by smithergirl_dt3000 ,Jan 31 '03
I am very pleased with this camera. It is a great value for the money, and perfect for a beginner or intermediate camera user. It's easy to set up and operate, and the picture quality is very good. I was hesitant to purchase because of the lesser known name brand and low price, but have seen other cameras that cost $150 to $300 with lower picture quality. I'm so glad I made this choice and would recommend it to anyone who can do without all the frills! Great Buy!

Great camera, would recommend to...
by aaron_m._dt3000 ,Jan 10 '03
Great camera, would recommend to everyone! I've compared to friends' cameras and this one seems to compare well against others and for the lower price, it makes it much better overal. The software it comes with is also user friendly. It was easy to connect to the computer via a USB cable. Easy to Use menu in camera and it has a fair amount of built in memory. Easy to upgrade with a MMC/SD card that can be purchased at any electronics store for a reasonable price. Like I said at the start, I would recommend this to family, friends, anyone and everyone! Enjoy!

Extremly POOR picture quality....
by zyxwvu_dt3000 ,Dec 13 '02
Extremly POOR picture quality. Color is really bad. Yes, I did try all the settings. Also the LCD is very dim.
Compared to my HP-125 which is a 1.3MP the HP is sharper AND the color is correct.
Too bad it takes such crappy pictures cause I do really like the camera otherwise.

This is my first digital...
by leo_w._dt3000 ,Dec 17 '02
This is my first digital camera, and I think I did pretty good. A friend at work has a Sony Mavica, and I have used both. The only major difference I see is that the preview LCD is not as clear or as bright as the Mavica, and a slightly lower quality image. I only paid 99 dollars, and he paid 400 for his Mavica.
I also love the video out feature. You can show your pictures just by hooking it up to any RCA type video connector (VCR, TV). A portable slideshow....
