Pros: Small, lightweight, easily portable, fairly decent photos, very affordable Cons: Adjusts poorly to low light, battery hog, easy to mis-align shots, no off button
The best thing about a cheap digital camera like this is that you can take it anywhere and not worry as much. I have 2 other cheap digital cameras of other makes as well. I've taken them with me wherever I go so that I can take pictures of anything ...

Great little camera
by carrolp ,Dec 02 '03
Pros: Small, inexpensive, easy to use. Cons: No zoom or focus features.
As an business consultant, I use the EyeQ Mini to take and send hundreds of candid photos each month. The Mini is the heighth and width of a credit card, and just over half an inch thick, making it easy to take those candids. The camera holds up to 99 pictures in the low resolution mode, and about two dozen photos in high resolution. Low resolution is fine for uses such as emailing pictures of the kids, or photographing items for auction sales.
The camera runs on two AAA batteries, which last through several hundred photos.
There is little or no learning curve to this camera. Software that comes with it is adequate for most purposes, not flashy but quite capable of cleaning up images.
I have only seen this particular camera sold at Target stores, usually for under $40. They would make a great gift for a budding digital photographer.

Sorta good, sorta bad
by sageev ,Jun 09 '04
Pros: Small, lightweight Cons: drains batteries, no webcam mounting parts
I'm a competent computer user and programmer. I feel that this camera is best used for candid photography, but you shouldn't expect very good images from it (expect grainy, especially in low light). It also functions as a good webcam that can run off of a USB port, but it doesn't provide any way to attach to a monitor or similar, and the only Instant Messenger program that could utilize it (in a Windows XP environment) was Yahoo. Also, you have to remember to remove the batteries when you are not using it. Most other Windows programs support the video that this camera can provide.

bad camera/cord
by lunatix ,Jun 16 '04
Pros: small/lightweight Cons: short cord, badcord design, faulty, camera stops working, isn't recognized by all webcam software
Ok, well I bought this camera last year, the same day I got it it stopped working, I went back and exchanged it for another, I used it and it worked for a while, then it just quit working, kind of like something was wrong with the cord, I don't know if its the camera itself or if there's something with the cord, either way, I highly do not recommend this camera, also if you already didn't read, to keep the pictures in the camera, you have to have the batteries in it, if you take them out the pictures are lost, so if you plan to take a lot of pictures, or if your life depends on pictures, this is not for you, this has no type of external or internal media, pictures just stay on while batteries are in, the pictures aren't the worse, but they're no where near 'good', but the issue i mentioned at the beginning is the main problem, bad design I guess
