Pros: Whole suite of apps for the price of one Adobe product Cons: Some of the apps are vexing, steep learning curve for hobbyists

CorelDraw Graphics Suite for PC
by graphicsrme ,Jan 16 '04
Pros: Easy to use. Myriad of import and export filters. Cons: Corel never really attained the status and reputation they have deserved.
I've been using CorelDraw since one of it's early releases (v3)in the early 90's. Corel offers a very powerful suite of applications for vector drawing, text manipulation, photo editing, and even animation creation. This is very powerful software at a very reasonable price. There are tasks I do in this software which I cannot do in Photoshop. It's unfortunate, but Corel has never attained the status of Adobe, but I think they deserve it. This is great software, reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this, to novices or professionals.
