Pros: Lightweight, inexpensive, wears well, comfortable, and on & on . . . Cons: can't think of any
I bought this belt-positioning booster seat for my 5 year old about 6 months ago. I wanted something lightweight and easy for my daughter to use. She wanted a backless booster (like her friend has), but I was convinced that the full booster seats were ...

Pros: Consumer Reports Best Buy, Easy to Clean, Adequately Padded Cons: It looks a little plain
We purchased 2 of these car seats for my 3 1/2 year old daughter who is 38" tall and weighs 34 pounds. The seats are for her grandparent's cars. Our daughter has been very happy riding around in her 2 Britax Roundabouts we have in each of our cars. I ...

A great seat that is NARROW!
by budakriti ,Oct 30 '06
Pros: It is narrow, comfortable, safe, and inexpensive. Cons: The fabric is black and gets hotter than a light-colored seat.
I had the challenge of fitting two boosters and an infant car seat in the back of my Jeep, and Cosco came through for me! This seat has a great crash-test rating, is very comfortable (so says my three-year-old and my nine-year-old), and it has a cup holder that isn't in the way! These seats cost me $29.97 a piece, and I am thrilled with the results!

Good product and price
by ahwatukeemom ,Dec 26 '06
Pros: Soft and comfortable, safe, adjustable, good value Cons: Hard to put together initially. Good once together.
My son loves this booster! He loves the high back so when he falls asleep in the car he has a comfortable place to lay his head. The adjustable back is great too. The shoulder strap guide works great and keeps the strap across his chest.
I never need to remove the back, however, if you plan to take the high back off periodically, I would not recommend this seat. The high back doesn't remove easily; it requires unscrewing the back. There are other brands where the back just pulls off by pressing a lever and is quick and easy. If you don't need to remove the back, this is a great seat.

Great Seat - Great Price
by monique0119 ,Apr 15 '05
Pros: Great safety rating, easy to install and use, great looking fabric for the money Cons: I found the cover a little difficult to put on, otherwise none!
We bought this seat for each set of grandparents as they all seemed to have a hard time installing a car seat correctly due to lack of strength. My daughter is 34 pounds and preferably she should be in a 5 point harness, but I was more concerned that the grandparents get her and the seat in correctly. Well, was I delighted to see that Consumer Reports gave this seat an Excellent in Crash Protection. (Though they only gave it a Good in Ease of Use, which I don't understand as none of us have any trouble using it.)
We have since bought a 3rd Protek for my husbands car as an extra. We currently have a Graco Platinum Cargo in my car for the 5 point harness which I love, but due to the way the seat belt straps through when you move to belt positioning option, I think we will replace it with yet another Protek when my daughter reaches 40 pounds. Can't say enough... We love this seat, love the price, and love the Consumer Reports review...
