Is my Cosco Two-Ways Double Stroller more like the Hindenberg or the Titanic?

by ariel10575 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jun 16 '02
Pros: Holds two children either front to back or front-to-front, backseat ideal for infants
Cons: Front seatbelt lap only, wheels hard to attach, some models are UNSAFE!
After my second child was born, I *knew* that I needed to get a new stroller. My single stroller, although a great stroller, just couldn't cut it for long, and it was no longer safe for infants as the kickstand would only go in one position now, and...

Ridin' in style

by gjacks Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, May 24 '00
Pros: Seems to be comfortable, price, storage area
Cons: Too long
My wife had twins on March 3, 2000. After we finally got them home from the hospital, we were a little reluctant to take them anywhere since they were 5 weeks premature and more susceptible to diseases.

Well, after we got over that, we went...

Baby Limo

by Prncess , May 11 '00
Pros: reversible front seat, comfortable, price
Cons: VERY bulky
Until recently I had a decent enough single stroller. I wanted a twin stroller but could not justify the expense. That is, until my single stroller disappeared. To this day I am not sure if hubby took it out of the van and left it wherever or if...

Okay for the price I paid

by swasch , Nov 06 '00
Pros: Comfortable, easy to open, pushes easily
Cons: Fairly heavy, takes up a lot of space
My husband and I purchased this stroller when we were expecting our second child. My son is 2 years old and still rides well in a stroller so we figured this was the best route to take. We shopped around and found this one at Wal-Mart for $99 as...

The Pinto of Strollers

by zsmomx2 , Aug 08 '00
Pros: None.
Cons: Extremely heavy, difficult to maneuver, poor quality.
I bought this stroller before the birth of our second son. The model we actually bought included an infant car seat. Neither one lived up to our expectations.

The stroller is extremely cumbersome. It weighs a ton and turns about as well as...

The Jury is still out

by DisneyWifenMom , Sep 21 '00
Pros: front seat can face backward, able to lay infant down in back, bassinet like seat offers walls all around
Cons: too many things have gone wrong.
I have the slightly newer model of this Cosco Tandem, its called the Eddie Bauer. While its a different pattern, and the best part about it it is its cup holders, Its still to be decided my thoughts on it.

I returned my first stroller, this...

Multi Use Terrific

by ValerieG , Jul 28 '00
Pros: Roomy. Multi-seating options. Safe for babies who cannot yet sit.
Cons: Heavy and awkward to store.
I recently purchased the Cosco Two Ways Tandem stroller. Although we were really wanting a travel system that would also accommodate my adventurous two year old, I couldn't justify the minimum $250 price tag, especially since we rarely use strollers,...

I am NOT Impressed!!

by ashleyf3 , Apr 04 '00
Pros: It is Cheaper Than Some other Brands - the Tandem design is easier to get through doorways/store aisles
Cons: Hard to collapse/heavy and sometimes hard to steer
We bought this stroller when I was pregnant with my second since my children would be less than 20months apart. I thought that for the price it was a great stroller - boy was I wrong!
When we got it home I heard a great deal of foul language as my...

I found more than two ways to hate this stroller!

by ned1 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Apr 06 '00
Pros: easy to push, large basket and lots of storage, looks nice
Cons: impossible to fold quickly, bulky when folded, doesn't always stay open
Oh I guess that's not what they meant when they gave it that name, but I sure found it to be true.

As the mother of 4 children, three of them ages 2 to 6, I have gone through a lot of strollers in my day. My two boys are 17 months apart. When...

Two Ways to travel, if you don't mind a little heave ho

by Carey-ann , Jul 18 '00
Pros: Two position seats, large basket, good overall everyday stroller
Cons: Heavy
At about 7 months pregnant with my second child, my husband and I began shopping for a double stroller. My children would only be about 22 months apart, and I didn't forsee my older child walking along peacefully!
I knew one thing...I wanted a...

Mixed results - Easy steering versus difficult use

by cloxie , Dec 15 '00
Pros: Tandem layout is nicely narrow. Smooth and easy steering. Comfortable. Large canopies. Tall handle height.
Cons: No middle strap in front seat. No locking reclined position. Reduced capacity basket is difficult to access, and becomes smaller when footrests are in use. Difficult to fold, doesn't lock shut easily. Heavy and long. Wheels can fall of easily.
We bought this stroller because I have two children that are only 13 months apart (yeah, I know!). We had previously been using our Evenflo Trendsetter System and had loved it, but it only houses one child at a time.

This one we liked because...

Do NOT buy this product!

by MyThreeSons , Sep 15 '00
Pros: none
Cons: everything
When I became pregnant with my third child my second child was only 9 months old. So even though I had 5 (no, that is not a typo) strollers I was obvious we would need a double stroller. I had umbrella strollers, full-size strollers, 4-in-1 carseat and...
