Pros: Small, portable, easy to use, combination flash drive for file transfers, good battery life. Cons: Small form factor makes it a little cumbersome to operate at times.
I'm an early adopter of technology but that doesn't mean that I am on top of it when it comes to updating my gadgets to the newer versions. A classic example of this is the first generation Sony DVD player I bought back in the 1990's for $1000. It was ...
Pros: No Cables, "Plug-and-Play", Simple to Use Cons: Weak FM Reception and Microphone
I returned my last player, a Sony ATRAC-CD player (see my other reviews) after struggling with the horrible software. I was tired of burning MP3-CDs, adding to them, and then not being able to delete any of the songs on the CD without erasing everything. ...
Pros: Very easy to use - plug, drop and drag, and listen Cons: I find 256 MB to be a bit small for my tastes
So this was the first MP3 player I tried and I have been most impressed with it. It turns out that 256 megabytes is a bit too small for my tastes, but the player's software is excellent and easy to use, the unit is highly portable, and it sounds good as ...
Pros: Awesome multifunctionality as an MP3 player, thumbdrive, digital audio recorder, and FM radio. Awesome Price! Cons: I haven't found any yet.
I absolutely love this product. The new Creative Labs MuVo TX FM 256 MB MP3 Player, weighing only 32 grams (without battery), is so versatile and functional that it has replaced my thumbdrive, voice recorder, portable FM radio, and my old RCA Kazoo MP3 ...
Pros: Easy to use, tiny, does more than play music. Cons: Not easy to find a particular song (you need to skip through other songs).
This year for Christmas I recieved both an iPOD (20G) and the Creative MuVo TX FM 128MB. Having had both, if I were go go out and spend my own money I would get the MuVo TX for the following reasons: 1. It is much, much cheaper. less than $100 ...
Pros: Lightweight. Auto Resume. Auto Power off. Configurable Backlight Timer. No Skip. Cons: No FM transmitter built in. No AM radio.
This is my second MP3 Player. My first was a GPX MW-3805. I purchased the Creative Muvo TX FM from a retail Walmart. Paid $60. I bought it because my GPX player did not have a useful resume feature, whereas, you could pause or turn off the unit and ...
Pros: High quality sound, small size and weight Cons: Shaky radio reception, inefficient navigation
The Creative Labs MuVo TX FM mp3 player combines a small, stylish design with a plethora of features and hours worth of music storage. The concept is good, but it's only practical for users that only need to bring a small fraction of their music ...
Pros: Cheap, durable, and is a Swiss army knife of Mp3 players Cons: Battery life, less storage capacity for those who need it
Despite the newest fad, I hate Ipods. They just rub me the wrong way. I see no reason for a person to store a months worth of songs and play it all at once. That said, I went shopping for a decent Mp3 player to suit my needs. I frequently go ...
Pros: small, easy to use Cons: directions and battery usage
I recently started exercising and didn't want to spend a ton of cash on an mp3 player. I didn't know a thing about them until I started researching on the internet. The Creative MuVo is a great little gadget. I bought mine at WalMart for about $52.00. ...
Pros: SHUFFLE! Good battery life, easy-to-use, easy to add, remove, rename, and reuse music. Cons: FM radio isn't super, earphones are funky.
I've only had good experiences with MuVos... My first was a 32MB one I got for my birthday, which is still working and has been passed down to my sister. My 128MB one WOULD be working if I had been slightly more careful with it (Oops.) Now I just ...
Pros: Inexpensive, well located controls, uses AAA batteries. Drag-n-drop file transfer. Cons: Small screen
I've been using this for a little over year now, and I am exceptionally pleased with it. I mostly listen to podcasts in the car, and an Ipod is overkill for that purpose. I also don't want the sight of an ipod in my car to tempt someone to break into my car while parked downtown.
The controls are well placed and easy to use, the screen is a little on the small side to read in the car. I seem to get about 10 hours of playtime from a rechargeable AAA battery.
I also like the drag and drop convenience of having the device show up as a disk drive. I prefer to not have to use a proprietary program like Itunes or Musicmatch to get my files into the player.
I paid $60 for this a year ago, but it now sells for $40. A very good deal for the functionality.
MP3 Player, Thumb Drive, Radio, Recorder by coudyreviewer ,Feb 08 '06
Pros: Sounds great, excellent functionality and reasonably priced Cons: Small display
Great MP3 player, thumb dive for data, FM radio and voice recorder all in one package. Intuitive functionality, software not the best but you don't even have to use it, just drag and drop. Sound quality as good as it gets with ear buds. Works great with iTunes free software.
The FM radio is a bonus and you can even record direct from the radio broadcast. Why buy an expensive iPod with less functionality when you can get this at Wal-Mart for $60? I have had one for over a year and bought another for our teenager.
It gets the job done, I don't complain by iridtheshrtbus ,Jul 30 '05
Pros: Flippable display, drag and drop, size, weight Cons: pausing between songs, wont play some songs off cds (.m4a's)
A wonderful mp3 player for the average person with hundreds of songs on their iTunes or WinAmp playlists, but only listen to maybe..50 or 60 at a time, then move on to new ones. Simple drag and drop is a great feature, but if you're on a Mac, when you want to clear it to make more space, you have to go into iTunes and click the little lightening bolt button, or else the songs will disappear, but so will your disk space on the player.
The option to custom EQ is great, personally i tell people to start off on the left, and move the bar all the way up, then with each bar to the right, down a little more, then when you get to the middle, go back up, making a long v shape. sounds very nice, better than all the presets.
anyway! sometimes, there will be a pause between the songs, maybe it's processing something, maybe not. but, yeah, sometimes it freezes. only for a few seconds though,
Pros: cheap and good Cons: could be a little sleeker
received it as birthday gift, happy w/ compactness with and large capacity storage. like the microphone, will come in good for privacy. radio allows me more options when bored. standard ear buds perform well.
Small, light and affordable by ahsingjai ,Jan 07 '05
Pros: Light, portable Cons: Take some time to get use to the menus. Slightly hard to see LED screen.
I bought this Flash mp3 player so I don't have to hog around my cd player when I jog. It doesn't skip and it holds more then a cd. It has a nice plastic holder clip and is very light, u can clip it to anything and it will stay there when you jog.
I dislike the controls, it takes some time to get use to and work it without pausing to think and focus on the tiny blue/black screen to read the large icon small text menu.
I had to reformat the flash drive in order to drag and drop the mp3s I wanted. I used iTunes as my library organizer, which is pretty easy to use when u can just drag the selected song from iTunes and drag it to the windows flash drive folder. Works just the same as if your dragging it from another windows folder.
