This is a great sounding little light-weight mp3 player.

The unit is pretty sturdy looking and feeling, except for the battery cover. It seems like it may break after a certain number of times the battery is replaced.

It comes with ear buds, which are average quality/sound for ear buds.

It is easy to transfer mp3 and files on and off, just plug into your computer's USB port, and drag and drop! No fiddling around with crappy conversion/transfer software needed.
It is convenient to use as a flash drive, just unplug it from the battery case and into the computer. It is nice to not have to use an external USB patch cord. the USB key seems very sturdy and should last many unplug and plug-ins.
The USB2.0 compatibility is good too, so it doesn't take very long to transfer files on or off of it.

The FM receiver is a nice built in feature as well.
I Haven't tried recording yet, but it can record either FM or from the tiny built in microphone.

While the set-up and transfer of MP3's onto the device was fairly simple, I can only say that the device is a worthless investment as it lasted a whole 5 weeks before it simply died. Half the 5 weeks, the device sat on a shelf. Creative Support was unwilling to shift on their 30 policy and they would look at it for a mere $45. This is a lot of money for a 12 year old kid who spent almost a year saving to buy the device.....
