Pros: Even cooking, see through lid, attractive design Cons: steel handles - quick to grab, hot to touch
After years of watching my mother make pancakes and chuck roasts in her electric skillet, I knew I needed to have my own. My husband, who believes 'Cusinart' translates to 'best' in all things zapped the Cuisinart Electric Skillet with the registry gun ...
Pros: Huge pan, heats evenly, cooks everything! Cons: Teflon comes off WAY too quickly.
I fell in love with electric skillets when my mother-in-law had bought me one for Christmas one year. I used it like crazy. It was a high-quality square one and stainless steel (no non-stick coating) and I was just thrilled with it. Nothing would stick ...
Pros: Cooks evenly.
Nice rounded edges.
Large handles.
Adequate cord.
Non stick surface.
Cons: Can't use metal utensils on cooking surface.
Temp gauge takes some getting used to.
I bought this product based on consumer reviews. I was in the market for one of the cheaper versions, but after reading reviews I changed my mind, and went for the Cuisinart. I hadn't had an electric skillet in roughly 10 or 15 years, but had an ...
I had to replace my old electric skillet because everything was starting to stick to it and the heating element was burned onto the teflon. I usually find the best electric skillets online because you definately get what you pay for. All I was ever able ...
Pros: Relatively high sides (2.5") so holds lots of food, simmers great, easy to clean. Cons: Glass lid is only slightly domed, so cooking taller roasts isn't possible.
I grew up with my mother using an electric skillet (no non-stick back then -- yes I'm dating myself), so having one has always been "essential" in my kitchen and I know the value having a good one. Nowadays, manufacturers seems to think that "throw ...
I love this product. I have gone through 3-4 cheaper varieties of electric skillets and after the last one broke, finally paid more to get this skillet. It is worth the price! I have had it almost a year and I absolutely love it. I have 10 children, so I needed something big. This skillet is big, heats evenly (unlike its competitors), and the clean-up is incredibly quick and easy. With such a large family, including 8 boys, I plan on buying a second one soon. I have also bought 2 of these for friends and they love theirs as well. This is one of the most used products in my kitchen.
