Pros: Super-easy to make region free. Compact and cute with lots of features.
Cons: The sound would go out, then it broke. I missed having a display screen.

Pros: Low cost, small size, interesting features, firmware easily hacked to render it region-free.
Cons: It will probably stop working shortly after you buy it.

Hesitation and Jumping

Pros: Inexpensive. Initially, good picture and audio pickup.
Cons: After a couple of months, jumping and skipping.

Pros: worked well for a year. Very good audio during that time.
Cons: Had some trouble playing slightly scratched DVDs.

Summary: I bought one of this things. It worked well for less than a year. Then one day I noticed a smell and the blue screen appeared to be "gyrating" at a three or four hertz rate. Nothing would play, of course. I recommend that people do not buy anything

Cons: Erratic playback, noisy, built-in obsolescence

Pros: Low price. Played every DVD or VCD great. Small unit.
Cons: Self destructed in 8 months. Very limited warranty. Save your $$$!

Summary: We received this DVD player as a gift. It always had little quirks - like the sound would go out periodically or it would just eject disks for no reason. After less than 11 months, it died on us. It's not worth saving a few bucks to get this unit.
