DM-2 hardware issues
by nikoba ,Mar 16 '04
Pros: Only thing out there like it. Great company Cons: Hardware compatability issues. Only works with mixman software
I purchased a DM-2 and installed onto my computer. I started the program up and got a studio.vxd error. I contacted mixman and they told me that it was due to some of my hardware and that there was no way to fix the error. They offered to refund my money which was very nice of them.
I have a AMD athalon 1800 with a soyo dragon board plus, a sound blaster live 5.1 and 512 of memory. If you are thinking about buying this product and have a simular system, you should contact Mixman first to ensure that your computer can use it.
I also found out that this product only works with mixman software, which kinda blows. I would love to use it as a controller for some real programs like Reactor and Cubase.
